It matters not what you play, It's how you play it.

Don't worry about what you pick. Pick what you want to play, not what's FOTM Pick champions whose kits you enjoy, not those whose kits are strong. Build champions how you want to play them, not how Reddit wants you to play them

Because at the end of the day, you'll play better on a weak champ you enjoy, than a strong champ you don't. You'll play better when you play to your own style, rather than the "meta" playstyle And, the most important thing:

You'll play better when you do want makes you happy, not what the meta wants you to do.

I've seen Rengar supports do more work than Braums. I've been stomped by AD Heimerdinger I've stomped as AP MF.

It's a game, have fun with it. :)

For the record I'm not saying "play off-meta". If you want to play strong champs because you enjoy them, then more power to you, I'm merely saying, don't let the meta restrict your choices of item choices or champion choices, hell, skill is such a major factor is any ELO that isn't Challenger of LCS, it doesn't matter what you play.

EDIT: Holy shit this thread got wayy more attention than I expected, it also got alot more attention than it's EUW counterpart. Thanks for all the comments :)

Or, put another way:

Zac It's not how much you can lift, it's how good you look!

I agree with everything on here except on thing: in ranked please do not build something that you've never tried before hoping it will work. I want everyone to have fun playing this game but I also want to not have a game ruined by someone playing a competitive match building willy nilly.

It's not how much time you have. It's how you use it. Ekko

If I wanna Sion jungle, then I'll Sion jungle. Even if he's not great there anymore.

And yet, there's always doubt when I go Eve mid. I understand. Many have tried. They can't get it to work for them. But my best games come from Eve mid-- usually run 19/0 before the other team FF.

AD Heimerdinger makes absolutely no sense to be honest. Maybe you got stomped by AD Heimer in a 4v5 but otherwise there is no conceivable way Heimer is going to be useful with that build

Rengar support isn't really a support but if you play a kill lane you can snowball quickly, and AP MF at least used to be a legitimate thing. But AD Heimer? I'm sorry, that's trolling.

What matters is team composition. I'd rather have an AP Corki mid than a zed when we are 100% AD and the enemy team has Rammus and Taric.
