Just AFK'd my first game in half a year due to premades

Kind of a rant thread, but at the same time I think group queueing is BS and forcing unwilling solo queuers to team with them is just asking to breed toxicity.

I would say I'm normally a pretty reasonable and calm headed player, but I'm pretty sure I'ma get perma-banned if I land in a few more games like this:

  • Get into champ select, 3 man premade with Top/Mid/ADC
  • I queue'd as ADC/fill and get placed into Jungle
  • Premade Instalocks Lee top, Zed mid, Vaye ADC
  • I ask that we don't have Lee top and Zed mid because that sounds like a terrible comp
  • "Triggered" - premade
  • They type a bunch of stuff in chat but it's all censored so I have no idea what they're saying
  • They 'ask' me to go AP jungler even though I very clearly state I don't play AP Junglers
  • They proceed to call me noob for not playing AP jg when honestly I think I'm plenty diversified already when I fill all 5 positions in the game
  • I pick first time Diana to make our team comp less bad, despite their verbal abuse
  • Enemy team obviously picks the most OP broken team comp with oppressive laning power and global presence
  • Get into the game, I haven't even cleared my Blue buff when Top gets first blooded
  • Mid gets ganked and dies about 30 seconds after
  • Everyone starts pinging me, because naturally it's jungler's fault
  • They just keep spamming ping, probably because it's not logged in chat so it's hard to report them
  • There's 3 of them so they don't run out of pings, I can't mute pings either.
  • It's driving me insane and obviously I'm pretty tilted after getting pinged for like 2 minutes straight
  • I get to level 3 and go gank bot, but I ain't got no mana because I'm a goddam AP jungler
  • Get the double kill except Vayne dies because I ain't got no mana because I'm a goddam AP jungler
  • Spam pinging continues
  • Continue trying to farm and gank with mediocre success
  • I'm 3/4/4 at this point which isn't that good but not terrible either considering first time playing Diana in ranked against a team that's obviously warding and communicating
  • Ping spam is out of this world so at this point I break my chat silence to tell them to stfu
  • "Even more triggered" - premade
  • Enemy team groups and pushes mid
  • I die like 3 times trying to hold mid but to no avail because Zed + Diana + Lee + Vayne have terrible sieging power (if only someone could have foreseen this)
  • I say in chat "wow if only we had a mage"
  • So at this point premade starts actually verbally abusing in chat
  • I feel like I've tried my best at this point and I've sat through ~15 minutes of continuous pings. There's no way I'm about to put up with verbal abuse in addition to all this bull
  • I leave
  • Premade all types in chat "report Diana toxic GG"

I don't even care at this point, perma-ban me I'm not playing dynamic queues like this.

I agree, the premades are out of control. dynamic que is ass and horrible. even though you get to pick your role and stuff which is neat. most time its people have 1 role they very good at an then one they not very good at so they set that 2ndary what happens if you get the enemy team with all their primarys an you get the adc who put bot 2ndary an doesnt play them that well. an then the enemy team is prob duo bot with communciation an even worst if they are trio with the jungle or mid you gonna have a rough day.

Not going to lie, it sucks to have any amount of teammates mad at you just because they outnumber you. Sorry that you had a rough game. Best thing you can do is mute your game in total (you shouldn't have to, but if the pings annoy you that's all you can do. pings should stay unmuteable because if you mute someone who is toxic but has a good understanding of the game, not being able to see their pings can be detrimental to your gameplay.) and mute them as well. I commend you for keeping cool as long as you did and in the end the chat logs will show you did the right thing. Right on, mate.

To be fair, you should learn AP junglers like Diana, Nidalee, Elise. All very viable picks right now, and worth learning, if anything just to help your team.

Yeah I've had games like this too, it sucks.

Of the things that piss me off in this game, toxic premades is one of the top

You play a MOBA game where your success is directly tied to the performance of 4 other strangers, you play this game in ranked, and you complain.

When you joined that rank que what did you think? Why do you even play ranked? Does it make ya feel good when you win? Well how do ya feel when you lose? Oh that sucks dunit

Yeah letting big groups in ranked is bullshit.

I've never had too much trouble with four man premades though. Not even when I went solo blind pick.

Never mind I did and I ended up just trolling them or forcing them to dodge if they wanted to be an asshole.

As someone who regularly plays with two other people and who loves the Dynamic Queue, stories like this make me sad. Hopefully the terrible groups will get rooted out soon.

This has been my experience so far in ranked this season. Between premades that are intentionally toxic, and riots inability to even do anything about it, ranked this season has been a disaster so far. It's why I've been taking a break from ranked right now.

Dynamic que is HORRIBLE. I do love the fact that you can pick your role, but the grouping needs to be fixed. Hopefully soon riot will fix it..
