Insane FPS drop + sound rippling starting from about a week ago (MAC CLIENT)

I'm playing on a 2013 13' Macbook Pro Retina

Every time a teamfight happens, my FPS drops to like 5 (previously I had consistent 60 FPS even in the densest of team fights) and the sound starts cackling/rippling in a similar fashion to a particularly wet fart.

Also for the past 2 years the unit-outline hasn't lined up properly with the unit. (The red/blue highlight around champions is several pixels offset from where it's actually supposed to be)

OMG, im not alone !!! i have the same problem ,my mac is 2011 15' with 10.10.4
every time i play team fight , if there is more than 5 people . i have a big sound rippling and i have to off the sounds then ri-open it ..... btw,my english is bad ..

I just wanted to say I'm also getting this issue, I've noticed the sound rippling in aram more than summoners rift, but my fps still drops to 0-4 when a teamfight is occurring. This makes it impossible to participate in these fights. I have all my settings set to very low and get a constant 90 fps. I never had this issue before.

did you have a mordekaiser in your game? i know theres a bug right now where if mordekaiser is in a game fps will drop and sound rips. i have a beefy pc with 120 fps consistent and whenever theres a mordekaiser it drops to 20-30 fps when he is on screen at the same tim. usually in teamfights or aram. really annoying.

Hey fellow mac players!

I found this issue as well. I reached out to Riot Support and they're aware of this with the patch. It can be temporarily fixed for now by disabling all in-game sounds. I know it sucks that you have to play without sound for now, but I'm sure it will get fixed soon!

Same issue with sound and team fights so much lag i can't go in all with this patch 6.6

not fixed for me. some matches are okay and others completely broke
