Patch 9.6 Urgot changes are brainless
Even though we gave constructive negative feedback to Riot about the new Urgot changes/buffs they will went though with it and refused to listen to us.
Urgot has now become a straight up simplified, basic champion where you dont really have to think or know anything about it to play him. I was a top 100 worldwide Urgot player before the nerfs and I did enjoy playing the right way, without abusing the Unsealed Spellbook keystone which is the main reason why Urgot was played in Pro Play. Urgot was overall in a healthy spot without that one issue.
This new changes however, will completely overpower him and instead of making him a rather passive toplaner, it will turn him into a complete bully.
His W is now a 0 cooldown and 0 mana ability at max rank, this right here is pretty ridiculously stupid by Riot Balance Team....Im shocked the fact something like this passed in their meetings but once again, its not the first time. How does a 0 cooldown and 0 mana ability brings any type of counterplay or skill expression to a champion???
They overloaded his E with a shield that for some reason has a 1.5 ad ratio instead of just a bonus health ratio, and they increased its damage at all ranks if you take in consideration the now 1.0 ad ratio when it was 0.5 previously.
They increased his R damage and its range, which means it will be a lot easier for Urgot to pull off kills with it, once again without doing much to earn it.
Urgot is a Juggernaut btw. He should have medium damage and still build a rather bruiser/tanky itemization. Yet this changes push for a heavy damage itemization which overall will be a unhealthy and frustrating gameplay, which isnt even fun.
I dont understand the urge of Riot to just buff every champion damage as a way to fix things. This needs to stop, because they are honestly killing all the fun and breeding this chaotic mess that we call of a Season.
