Once again Riot balance team attempts to fix things without actually listening or having any common sense. Another bad patch, but well we are used to it anyway.

Aatrox: Unsure if this isnt too much;

AurelionSol: This is a straight up buff to Aurelion Sol players who love to roam;

Brand and Zyra: Brand does have a higher skill expression than Zyra. Honestly the Zyra nerf is laughable and makes me question why lower Brand damage but not Zyra? In my opinion Zyra needs a rework and completely change of her kit.

Cassiopeia:Cassiopeia should rely less on her Q to do damage, and actually have to be the 'machine fang-gun' shes supposed to be. A nerf on her Q damage and ratios while increasing its E ratios would be more healthy.

Galio: Riot I will be clear with you. YOU CANT MAKE A BRUISER/TANK HAVE RATIOS OF A ASSASSIN. Seriously. Why are we still buffing his damage and removing every team player mechanics from his kit then nerf him, then buff him again and ONCE AGAIN nerf him? This is like the third or second time this happens and I doubt it will be the last one.

Irelia: Why remove her Passive bonus damage against shields? That was honestly a really cool and not broken. It was a unique interaction with Irelia, and honestly I do believe we should have more anti-shield mechanisms. Ultimately this made Irelia unique. Instead they gave her ult a 90% SLOW AND Increased its damage significally at all ranks. Her ult disarm is gone, which was also a cool interaction, but hey, why have other interactions when damage is the only thing that matters! This pretty much turned itself into a Thresh copy pasted R;

Jax: Well we all know Jax does everything well, and his kit along with his base stats can make sure of that. However I would rather have his Q cooldown increased than his Q damage lowered. I think that would give players more satisfaction when playing against him without removing Jax players strenghts. After all Jax biggest issue is Conqueror;

Kassadin: Kassadin is now gutted to oblivion against a ad assassin. Have fun inting!

Kayn: Probably one of the few only good things that this patch brought. Honestly nicely done, and I was happy to see the Rioter responsible for it asked for the Kayn mains feedback before actually making the changes;

Neeko: Quality of life improvement in my opinion;

Ornn: Good changes;

Rakan: Weird changes to say the least. Im not really sure if they were needed at all;

Shyvana: Im worried if this isnt too much. I feel that Shyvana should do extra damage to dragons BUT allow it to be the player own good performance to be the result of that, by for an example 'Shyvana damage vs dragons increases the more dragons she kills';

TahmKench: I guess its fair, thought it was pretty hype and fun to see it;

Urgot: This one is pretty funny. People will call me biased since I do play a lot of Urgot and do well with it. However Urgot early game is one of the weakest in the game. Unless the enemy champion literally tower dives you at level 3, there is not way a Urgot has lane priority till he reaches maybe level 6 and even that is sketchy. Urgot relies on his attack range and Q to farm in the early game and to poke. However I will remind you that Urgot Q is a skillshot and is also a low damage ability till you actually max it. Any toplaner straight up outdamage urgot and this is coming from someone who uses the highest damage Runes set up and Ignite. To make it worse, if Urgot fails his E, he can be severely punished to his death. This nerfs explanation are that "These nerfs should give other toplaners a better chance of success" which makes no sense at all. Urgot split push is weak, his teamfight/Frontline role is a double edge sword, and he pretty much gets outdamaged by everyone;

Summary: Urgot weak early game is now made weaker without much sense. I guess skill expression is not allowed in League anymore;

Volibear: Honestly feels like a clunky way to buff Volibear. How about you take a look into his W and rework it into something more pleasant to use?

Yorick: I will keep it short. Yorick is now broken. The Maiden feels literally like a Baron with these changes. I would rather have her base stats reduced but the scaling with Yorick health increased to 50%. We get a enormous base stats increased and a 70% scaling with Yorick health. Ban this or die;

item 3165: 10 ability power wont change much, and this changes are meaningless by itself;

item 3068: Meh;


#Runes and Summoner Spells:

I will be making this clear. ADC's are not supposed to be self sufficient. They are not supposed to survive everything and kill everything. They need a team to peel and frontline for them and without this synergy we WILL create unhealthy gameplay patterns that are just gamebreaking.

Overheal: Healing from allies was reduced but your own healing conversion was increased. Vayne players, instantly pick this rune, get item 3072 too and you can have almost a 600 shield, which you can reset with your autos while invisible during your ult Q's. What a lovely game.

LEGEND: Bloodline:

  • Riot balance team: Hey Bloodline seems like in a pretty good spot and fair.
  • Also Riot balance team: Lets make this rune broken.

This rune will give a 12% life steal when completed which it isnt hard to at all. I guess everyone can have a Blade of the Ruined King life steal just by picking this rune now.

summoner 14: Ignite only needed a damage nerf. They did reduce its damage which by the way, would still be a nice option to assassins and offensive supports. BUT they reduced its cooldown to a insanely low amount. Which it means you can pretty much spam it in lane without much thought. A Summoner spell that its concept should be to All-in someone, is now pretty acessible to just use it regularly in trades.


The Hand of Baron changes are meh. I would prefer if Baron was harder to kill once again and make its buff a rewarding and powerful feeling, instead of this.

The Jungle experience and Red Smite changes are a desperate attempt to fix a dull, boring and full of issues role, that doesnt give much space to creativity or skill expression/Game Knowledge.

P.S: Position Ranks and Matchmaking will only be on NA and KR. Apparently people are okay with that, for some weird reason, when we just had a preseason full of nothing to test. To me it only shows incompetence and lazyness. I see no reason why cant other regions have it too.

as a jax main i thought the nerf to him was a bit odd but im happy it was so minor lol and as for the kayn i was happy to see something more become of him

overall i like some of the buff and i disliked some of the nerfs but you cant please everybody
