Zac unnecessary Rework

I know that the list of champions that are getting some changes in this Mid Year Class Update have been released some weeks ago and I must say that when I saw Zac as one of the big 3, my heart fell on the ground.

I could not understand why would Riot prioritize Zac when he is in a good spot and his kit is already fun, simple to understand, efficient and dynamic instead of other champions that need a lot more love and changes like Malphite, Skarner, amumu or even Rek Sai(Still waiting for the promised months and months ago in a far away place changes to her)

Anyway I remained calm and thought lets wait and see. This morning I woke up to some leaks(skins, the reworks) that Im sure most people have seen it, but I wont talk about them nor say they are true or fake. HOWEVER it scares me that Riot will change Zac Ult (most importantly) to something binary and not fun to use.

Again I ask Riot: Why change a Champion that is in a good spot? Zac is fun, his kit needs no work other than perhaps his Q and even that is stretching a lot(badumtss), and he definitely does not need a Rework. His Q doesnt have much but the feeling of when you kill a enemy with it is fun and has some spark to it, your W already is something unique and works. Your E is AMAZING, the Baron Steals, the ganks, Zac voice, everything about it. And his Ult is just majestic and beautiful when ganking and even in teamfights and its Zac only way to survive and keep the pressure on his enemies and sometimes keep your allies alive, becoming a game changer if done right. The Play potential is big.

Some people will say: "People dont like change at first" and I will answer to that with this: "Why fix/change something that isnt broken and works in a good way?"

SHORT VERSION: Zac Rework in my opinion was a mistake. Zac is a fun champion in a good spot. Other champs need the "big rework" spot way more than him, in fact Zac needs no changes at all. Everything about it feels wrong and I am afraid that Zac gets destroyed by this rework and becomes not fun and fluid to play with like now.

P.S: This was my first post in the Boards, Im sorry for the kinda rant(?) or the amount of words put into it or if Im even in the right subforum but I just like making my points clear to everyone and give my opinion on the matter as someone that loves playing Zac. Have a good day!

Don't take some (probably fake) leaks as if they are a fact. Here however, is the info on Zac's Mid season Tank Update that Riot has confirmed.

Malphite, Skarner, amumu or even Rek Sai

I'm not sure how you can think these ones need changing, but not Zac. Myself, I'd exclude Skarner and Rek'Sai from this grouping, and call the rest "generally similar" in the sense that their kits are very one-dimensional, and even the way you build them is quite straight forward.

Group update are not here to rework champ who are in the worst state (who need a full rework in visual and gameplay).

They are here to enhance a group with some systemic change, bring more difference between the champ. The goal is not to have every champ of a type in a good positon but a more solid base.

Reading Riot post about Zac I think that even if there is some good idea in his kit (that they want to keep) there are other part (A and W, nothing to do after initial engage) that are really bad. So it is easier to enhance Zac gameplay than for example a Nautilus where changement need to be more global.
