Im Silver 2 yet im playing against goldies?
I've been recently promoted to Silver 2 and all of a sudden i'm being matched with gold players. I don't see why i'm not matched with people in silver! Am I missing something??

It means that your MMR is higher than your rank (or the Gold players have lower MMR than they should).
Being matched against players several divisions above your current rank is common when climbing. I'm currently in Gold 1 and I've been playing against Platinum 4 and 3 players in the majority of my matches.
Since you are playing against players of a higher rank, this should be reflects in your LP gains and losses. Personally speaking, I'm gaining about 25-29 LP per victory and lose ~13-16 LP per defeat. Since I'm matched with players from a higher tier, it would still be easy for me to climb even if I only had a 50% win rate (since I'm going even in games with people from higher ranks than I am).
I hope that clears it up.
Matched with goldies in ranked i mean
Your matches are based on your MMR matchmaking rating, not your Rank. In short, MMR is the current estimation of your actual skill.
You'll always be matched according to your MMR, not your rank, so that your matches are always as even as possible. "But that's unfair if I'm being matched with harder opponents if I'm still in Silver. Shouldn't I get placed with the noobs so I can climb to where I belong?" you might ask. Nope! That'd just be unfair to the lower elo players you're getting placed with, but that doesn't mean it's unfair to you instead. Instead, if your MMR is higher than the Rank you're in (meaning you get placed with other higher elo players) you will get more LP for your wins and less LP for your losses, which helps you climb that way even if you are only at a 50% win rate.
You should be happy you're getting matched against golds. I was slowly starting to see more and more silvers creep into my ranked games, which probably means I will be here forever.
The MMR spread is larger in preseason because fewer people play ranked.
