Hey guys I main LeBlanc in mid lane and I'm Silver 5 hoping to rise in elo. I have really weird things happen to me like I go on crazy winning streaks and then go in horrible losing streaks. Do you guys know why? I know it's not all my teams fault in losing games either trust me I call myself out when I know I lost a game, any tips on how I can maybe fix my crazy losing streaks? Is it just me tilting badly?
TBH, I have come the same conclusion about myself.
My win streeks are the results of pure luck. I noticed every time i had a win streek, i was getting multiple games in a row where i had good teaamates, and on the streeks i lost in, i always had bad teamates.
Your skill level probably fit's this description
"I am good enough to play with a lead, but I am not good enough to solo carry if I am in trouble"
It just takes practice but until you can turn it into
"I can carry any game as long as I put my mind to it"
You will not climb. You will always be reliant on good teammates.
i use a website called analyze or feed it made me into a really strong player!
It is really easy for the brain to glom onto anything unusual -- that's one of it's primary functions -- so it takes tools to assist us in determining what a crazy win/lose streak looks like. And we have such tools in the form of math to help us gain some objective perspective.
Winning and losing streaks are well-behaved patterns, much like rolling a pair of dice produces a well-behaved pattern. Streaks come in lengths of one or greater, and for a given number of games there's an expected number of occurrences of each streak length.
Given a set of N games there should be N/2 streaks of length 1, N/4 streaks of length 2, N/8 streaks of length 3 and so on.
