Why is autofill still even a thing?!

I don't understand the implementation of this mechanic nor why it is STILL IN THE GAME. I more than understand it for Draft pick, that's a normal game and you shouldn't be angry you're playing Support, it'll only help you play other roles even better, even if you have no intention of returning to playing Support.

But Ranked. RANKED. I want my teammates at their best whenever possible, because I'm tryharding as well. I won't flame them if they mess up, but I will hope for the best and hope that they get the opportunity they need to play their role well. Except, if our Support player is an amazing Riven or Fiora, maybe Darius, maybe Lee Sin, so on, but barely has any knowledge as to how to play Support (and barely has any knowledge on the picks), how the hell is that fair?? How is that fair to my team and that player??

What's even worse is being Auto-filled into a different role than Supp, like putting someone into Jungle or Top when they clearly have no idea how to go around playing these roles. The Top-playing Midlaner doesn't know how to play Top. Top revolves around wave control (freezing/resetting), denying CS and XP and the trade here and there. Mid looks to roam, have bursty quick fights and generally, advanced CS mechanics aren't present. They're not bad players, they just play THEIR OWN SELECTED ROLES well.

That player's MMR is based on the roles they play and the roles they climbed with. How is putting someone whose support play is Silver 5 at best into a Platinum game fair, for example?? The other support can counterpick them, know their playstyle, synergize with their ADC MUCH BETTER as communication is a major part of playing Support, etc. Furthermore, Macro knowledge on a role you don't play much is minimal, as you can only carry over what you know from your other roles.

ALL OF THIS. FOR 2 LESS MINUTES OF WAITING. So Riot decided for us, "You don't want to wait 2 more minutes so here, go waste 30-45 minutes being frustrated instead and while we're at it, let's make a player feel completely inadequate."

PLEASE look into removing this feature. I don't care if I have to queue for a few minutes more if it means finding a quality game where everyone WANTS to play the game in the first place.
