Aatrox vs Yasuo. Who wins?

Aatrox needs to get ahead, and to get ahead he needs to pull off his level 2 cheese on Yasuo, which can be quite tricky to pull off if Yasuo started E.

If he doesn't, then they are somewhat even in lane, but the more levels they get, the bigger the difference between the two, Yasuo being heavily in favor considering he can not only dodge Aatrox Q but also windwall his E if Yasuo is skilled enough, which means Aatrox has effectively 2 spells during this match up.

Either way, Aatrox is pretty lackluster.

All he has is sustain and it isn't even that good in the first place.

He can surprise you with a tiny bit of burst, but that's about it.

Aatrox should be able to win trades and duels easily, but if the Yasuo is competent he won't die in lane to Aatrox

In teamfights they serve different purposes so it doesn't make much sense to compare them

Yasuo has a fantastic early game and I'd rate him even better than Aatrox at that stage. Early midgame (lvl 6+) he becomes kinda weak and should probably get 1v1ed by Aatrox, especially if Aatrox has botrk. Come mid-lategame he outscales vastly Aatrox.

Depends on the Yasuo player...Aatrox will win any straight 1v1 until lategame but smart Yasuo players can usually just dash around your minions and avoid extended duels.
