Mine is Yasuo. He's always been my top ban(there was a time I banned caitlyn but that's long before his F****try came out) But seriously what's your top ban. Only one pick. Please explain why. I can't stand Yasuo for a bunch of reasons that I won't get into. I have officially made a promise to myself that I will dodge any game that he gets picked for. He's what Teemo is to most players. I can deal with a Teemo. He's not as annoying as a champ who spends his entire laning phase using a free dash that's literally always up.

Yasuo (prepare for triggered yasuo mains), I mean his kit is perfect, he gets doubled crit chance along side with a shield that is always up, his W is the most toxic ability I've ever seen and his E should burn in hell. His gameplay is dumb, spamming E and Q must be hard no? And yet he has a "10/10 difficulty." I wanted to get this out of my chest.

And if he's so "easy" and "broken" Why aren't the pros abusing him? He isn't one-dimensional, and he does have utility, so he does have a kit that should be played in the lcs, so why isn't he?

Maybe because going in with E makes it so you most likely have no way to go out unless you planned it? It's not easy to play yasuo, just because some Yasuos stomped games it doesn't make him easy.

I believe the pros aren't using him because Yasuo has no real 'team synergy' outside of "Oh, look, that Malphite just ulted the whole enemy team. REGGAE-TON!"

Now, look, I'm not saying Yasuo is broken or anything, but I do find him obnoxious so he's up there with my top bans.

However, he isn't my number 1 ban.

Janna because she makes it impossible to carry as a melee champion no matter which team she's on. If she's on your team, then her utility is largely useless to you as a melee champion. If she's on the enemy team, she cockblocks you constantly if you're a melee champion. Janna as a champion stops things from happening, and I like to do things.

Darius. Not because he's OP, but because he counters most of my top lane roster, and ultimately the other lanes don't matter. What matters is whether or not I can snowball a lead on my laning opponent. Most of my champs can't do that against a Darius that isn't much worse than me.

You throw a skillshot, he dodges it with his E. He throw a skillshot at him and he can't dash out of it, he windwalls. His windwall is on cooldown? His shield absorbs it.

In order to even hurt him, you need to pop his shield with an autoattack, bait his windwall and attack him when he can't dash (or predict his dash). Meanwhile, he has no trouble hitting you with his Q3 or EQ combo if you get near him. He's completely manaless and AD, meaning he gets all the powerful anti-magic items (Hexdrinker) and can spam his abilities and push non-stop the entire game, forcing you to farm, OOM, under your tower and cry.

Even if I win against him in the end, playing against Yasuo just saps all the fun out of the game.

Oh no, poping the shield with an auto is hard. Oh no, Aiming my skillshot at where his E will end is impossible. Neither is targeted cc and windwall also lasts for 10 years and deals 100% maximum health sex damage and causes all of your allies to walk into the enemy fountain and forces you to throw all of your skillshots at it too. Outplaying a yasuo isn't considered outplaying, it's called Yasuo fucking up, because yeah you can't outplay a yasuo?

I wouldn't say he has the most broken laning phase. That title goes to Riven, in my opinion. :p

However, I would say that Yasuo (if he doesn't play like an idiot) has one of the most obnoxious laning phases. Besides, fighting a Yasuo...I'm sorry...AVOIDING ...is admittedly pretty damn difficult.

More speed combined with his already annoying dashes, combined with a 12% damage reduc AND more CRIT, as well as, the slow from the Frozen Mallet he'll soon build? I'm good, thank you.

EDIT: I don't pay much attention to win rates and such, as they usually tilt me. (i.e. Seeing Fizz anywhere near the top of the win rate lists triggers me) lol But I do see your point.

I think the strongest laning phase is heimer as he's nearly ungankeable and how you lane against him to to farm and outscale.

Yasuo does have a very obxonious laning pahse if played right, that's not something new. Phantom dancer is bullshit (So much that even Aatrox builds it in his normal build and doesn't even bother building any other crit items and aatrox gets shit from crit) and frozen mallet should be outright deleted.

Yeah, screw Heimer! No one really plays him, so he's not really mentioned. But, he is annoying, I'll give you that. I've complained about PD since the day it was changed. Frozen Mallet was neer a concern of mine until Gnar started using it. Uggh...i was even fine with Teemo using it. At least with Teemo using it, he was manageable. Gnar, not so much.

Yes, by definition if a champion is absolutely abhorrent to play against, then there is something wrong with his design. The game is supposed to be fun for all players, not just the ones playing Yasuo.

Just tryna point out that, yes, the points matter, but the champs I named off (minus Tryndamere, Irelia and maybe Jax), aren't as annoying and obnoxious to play against as Yasuo is. Or hell, they're not even as obnoxious as Jungle Graves or Nidalee, for that matter. (Wait, no, scratch that. Nid's pretty damn obnoxious.)

I stand corrected on Pantheon.

Tryndamere and Jax are pretty annoying, to be truly honest. Sure, not AS annoying as Fiora and Yasuo (i love Fiora, mind you), but they are still annoying in their own rights.

Hey, I love fiora too. I don't know what is irelia classified of melee carries must be strong late and rely on autos to deal most of their damage. most of them are meant to go full damage so they have defensive steroids in their kit (Jax ult and E) (Yi's highlander's slow invul, meditate and Q) (Yasuo's wall and shield) (Trynd's ult), etc.

They are annoying really, but that doesn't make their kit poorly designed. Just being aids to play against doesn't make your kit poorly designed, most of certainlyt's champions are all viable picks and are balanceable excluding one (Kalista) and have very smooth and functional kits unlike fuken aatrox.

I hate that meta forces us to not go up against certain champs, like, ever. I've never fought against a Galio because he's almost non-existent. I've only fought, like, 1 or 2 Aatrox's. I forgot Kalista was a champ. If it wasn't for my younger brother, I'd have long forgotten Tahm Kench was a champ. And then there's Ziggs, who goes from being seen one day to non-existent, just like Galio.

I want the whole champ roster to be played. Is that or will that ever be possible? Like, ugh...
