Trying to have a decent game then you get smurfs in one team, trolls, flamers, trolls etc.

Even if 1 person stops trying and flames / trolls the game is just not fun to play anymore.

Last game Riven 2 16 that bought 7 mana charms and spammed surrender in the chat all game.

I would rather play Apex legends and suck at it then try to have fun in this game. And when this 1 person stops trying to win you just wasted 40 mins of your life doing nothing but raging in chat.

Good go play a BR, it's what riot wants their game to be anyway.

Riot has built up a lot of resentment over the years and this problem is only going to get worse until riot eventually tries to backtrack and dies because they tried to get back the players who already don't trust them.

Season 8 has been the same. No surprise about s9. Luckily there are other (more fun) games around.

Tbh there's a decent chance you'll hate apex just as much if you aren't skilled enough or if you don't have friends to play.

Instead I'd suggest y trying other MOBAs. HOTS is pretty fun. Not as big, but it feels like a good game just to take a break from LOL.

You should probably just take a break. The one thing I have appreciated about league after taking breaks is that as much as the game might have gone downhill, the base game was so damn good that league in its current state today is still very good compared to other multiplayer games.

How is buying 7 mana charm possible when you're limited to 6 items?

That Riven bought all those mana charms 2 minutes before the game ended, which is in my opinion pretty much less serious than buying it on early level. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying his actions are okay but I think you're just trying to put some oil in the fire for a simple bad case

Bad game happens. Tilting happens, Griefing happens. Not on every game though. This was maybe one of those game where something tilted him.

People usually buy x6 tears near the end of the game just to show their disatisfaction for the game they had.

Exactly the opposite. People want the game to be braindead to play. That is why they hate Rive, Akali and Yasuo. Because you can't play the laning phase against them on auto pilot.
