Yippe ki yay for AD Yi buffs!

As a casual Yi player I would like to thank Riot for the AD buffs. I did some math:

The changes mean about a 10% nerf for on-hit Yi's true damage and a ** 10% buff for AD Yi's true damage. ** These values vary, depend on builds and levels obviously.

I am one of the few people that like to casually build Yi with AD/Crit I think the changes are going the right direction but not addressing the real issue with on-hit Yi.

**The issue is the ultimate. The fact Yi is immune to slows, including attack speed slows means there's zero counterplay to on-hit Yi while he ults. **And the ult last for a long time.

I think that Yi should have his E ratios buffed but the ultimate should be modified so that attack speed slows on him during his ultimate are 50% effective.

This would make him still effective vs squishies while allowing tanks to survive by slowing his attack speed.

The point of his ult, being immune to slows and most cc and all, is that he was originally forced to build glass cannon ad/crit yi. Now that he was exploited as a tankyi it became WAY too overpowered and a HUGE balance issue in the game. As a glass cannon, it is literally the only chance he has to survive before being killed by a single cc and 2 shot by the adc. Now he has to decide when to use his Q to engage and keeps his auto attacks at bay since he wont be able to sit there and auto attack freely in the middle of a team fight.

This is a GREAT adjustment to Yi and makes his a much riskier pick now...the way he should be.

I agree with you that it's good Yi's ult is used to allow him to stick to his targets and counter peel. I think that the fact Yi is fully immune to attack speed slows however is a bit over the top and has nothing to do with helping him counter peel.
