I had to leave champ select 3 times because my team failed to ban him. Last game I didn't leave and of course we lost. Then I get punished with extra wait time because I left champ select.

That he is toxic because you cant really fight him alone, and if the game goes long you cant even fight him 2v1.

It's about his damage, because he has no counter it's toxic, you cannot run away from him either, there is no champ in LoL that cannot be fought except Yi.

Yi has been complained about as being weak, every single day for weeks now. Maybe months.

And he wasn't even that powerful before the nerfs. It's just that so many n00bs let him get fed so easily, and don't bother to learn howto play against him or counter him.

When in fact, he's literally one of the single easiest champs in the entire game to counter... I actually love it when the enemy team has a Yi.

you're getting downvoted for not understanding Yi is pretty easy to counter. He only has one thing going for him which is attack. Idk what elo you are but just ward up and dont run around alone in areas with no vision if enemy yi is fed. If he isnt fed then just play safe. Keep track of items and know how much you can do and handle. Yi is one of the simpler champs in the game.

Also stop using the word toxic for no reason. If he is fed then you're not supposed to 1v1 him. If you're the same it depends on your champ vs yi. Just know the match ups and stuff. Not really that complicated.

He's only bad if they're cheat playing with him generally. Like unfair game ruining technique. If you play him properly, he's awesome to fight against and play as. You just have to find people that don't only resort to cheap baby kills to get their "points" up.

There is no cheat way of playing, especially in ranked you try to win any way you can. This champ is just toxic because he leaves no room for counter play. Riot has changed many champs because they were too oppressive or whatever so Yi should get the same treatment. This is game is 0 (zero) fun with Yi in it.

Yeainh hainh, there actually is. If you're not even going to listen then don't waste our time with a thread that's meaningless. Learn how actual playing works and what a GAME is, you should know what a cheat is.

I'm tired of Yi, in S5 he used to be different, not so oppressive and you could at least fight against him.

Again, that's called the enemy cheat playing then. If you can't fight against them, that is game rule break on their part. Because it's throwing hot dogs and soda at your race horse so that he can't race, when the test is not about that, it's about the race to see who wins.

If you're at 2 hp and he's chasing you cheaply when he's 4 levels ahead, that is called DISHONOURABLE play and it is the equivalent of cheating in most games, video game or not.

It's not cheating, it's called trying to win, with your friends you can make up such rules, but they have nothing to do with competitive gaming.

How do you chase someone "cheaply"? Is it different from just running straight at them, somehow?

He feels more oppressive now because he doesn't need to spend time stacking devourer in the jungle, which gives him more opportunities to gank lanes.

when you have 120 or so champions with varying strengths and weakness, you're going to have some that excel at isolate combat while others excel in team fights

do you see how silly it'd be to get upset that you can't 1v1 a tryndamere as say miss fortune?

Nope Yi is the only one you cannot duel that's exactely my point. You cannot run away from him because hes too fast. You cannot outdamage him because he kills you too fast. You cannot counter him by being super tanky either, so basically you have nothing to counter him neither damage nor tankiness. Other champs you can counter with damage or with tankiness or if they are too fed you can at least run from them.

I'm not talking abut specific match ups but about Yi in general that he has no real counter in late, compare S5 Yi with the Yi now, I never felt so helpless against him in S5. But I will just leave the game now don't care if I get punished for it.

yi beats trynd late if trynd ult yi can easily go away because trynd can't slow him, also he can use W yi beats trynd
