Don't forget to honor the tank players too

I noticed when I switched my main from Damage to Tanky I've gotten a lot less honors because I just don't get many kills in a game.

But the tank player does as much for the team as the flashy assassin or damage dealer. Sometimes I honor the tank in our team just because he picked a tank and as a initiator he is as valuable as our 12/4/4 carry.

I just honor the person who played the best (outside of the niche scenarios where the best player is a douche, or someone deserves it by his attitude).

You say "too" as if people can honor more than one player per game.

Honor doesn’t mean anything. Most games follow the same pattern of honor: Marksmen always honors the Support for sucking him off through the game. Mid lane and sometimes Too usually honor Jungle for camping them. Top, Jungle and Marksmen usually honor the “carry” of the game, which is usually Mid, sometimes Marksmen or Top.

....if you interact a lot with someone in the game it's understandable that you are more likely to honor him, that's normal.

Honestly? I just always honor the kindest, respectful and helpful players. Kills never really mattered on my decision in honoring someone.

That's not been my experience, also you can't easily see who is kind if you don't chat much.

Yep, supports too sometimes don't get the credit they deserve. Had a game we were losing, but as Rakan I get a beautiful flash 4 man ult into W, into Ori ult, into Yasuo Ult, into Jax Quadra into us winning the game. Jax got 3 honors that game. Like, what else do you want from me?

I did have one autofilled game as ADC where my Ornn literally peeled the crap out of me. I was so thankful to him that game since they had something like Camille, Rammus, and something else that was always diving for me but he did amazing at keeping as many off me as he could.
