Troll Banning Teams Picks Prevention(Suggestion)
Long Story: I am a Casual League player, so in honest opinion ... well my opinion doesn't matter as much as some. Nevertheless, I find the new Draft Pick Queue enjoyable, well not really enjoyable per say, but it is a nice addition to queue. Now I'm sure there are several issues that people could come up with around why the queue needs updated or changed or whatever the case, but I'm going to specifically zone in on people who Ban your selected champion when they're on your team. It's happened to some of us, I personally have only experience it once, so no in my experience, it doesn't happen often, but the fact that knowing you want to play some champion you select the 'champion' and during banning the last banner bans said 'champion' because they can without any questions asked. Well you might ask them why. Which, granted sometimes it could be they weren't paying attention, but in my case, it was intentional. I very rarely queue dodge, but if you intentional ban my selected champion because the option exists to, thats rude, and i would rather not be in a game with someone like that.(yes i know there are a whole bunch of rude people in the league community, but if i can prevent being in a game with someone like that, then i will) The issue is actually not so much them banning my selected champion, its the fact that doing so ruins the experience for me which leads to queue dodging and penalties outside the specific game queue.(which i have yet to receive any penalties, but I would rather not due to some rude prick), again i state, only if its intentional. If they ban and realize their mistake, cool, i play a variety of champions, its fine. Back to the main point,
Short Story:
SUGGESTION: Might i suggest rito adding a verify ban feature? IE Your team bans Your selected champion, but before the ban is final you have to approve the ban within say '5-10 seconds or so' if you weren't paying attention then well, you deserve your champion to be banned, its champion select, go the restroom during loading screen, but this would at least prevent the troll bans. oh, and you might say 'Now wait, can't someone select a champion and say no to the ban, then not pick that said champion' yes, but how often do you think that would happen, COMPARED, to someone just troll banning, plus even if it happens it would honestly be them decided that they actually didnt want to play that champion not intending to troll.
Overall, maybe this idea wouldn't be ready for Casual normal games, BUT, i think in ranked this could be a nice feature considering ranked troll banning would be considered worse then on normals.
