leveling a new account

they give new players a set champ pool because they feel those champs are "beginner friendly" and once they hit i think its lvl 5 they get the normal rotation. I think they do need to revise which champs are in that grouping though. The set group is likely so that a new player can get comfortable on a champ they like and want to invest and maybe they don't have a lot of time to play each day so it is nice for them probably to be able to rely on that champ being there until they hit a certain level instead of just that week. Imagine you are completely new and fall in love with jhin cause he was in the cycle but you could only play 3 games a week and one day you log on and he's not available and he likely won't be for quite some time and then you have to find a new champ from the new champ pool. that would be annoying and difficult for someone new to the game
