Match making

How do you guys do match making? you say MMR but how can someone who has 1 win and 19 loses in ranked have my MMR? so far today I've had a a top laner with 17 deaths and another game with a mid laner with 16 deaths. Last game my mid laner placed 3 wards whole game and never rotated or roamed. They said they needed to keep their states up for that S ranked. I've had a game with 3 people on my team who all had 1 ranked win and guess what, they all lost the their lanes HARD. for example had an Aatrox in to plane. 38 cs in 20 minutes.... 7 deaths to kayle in 20 minutes. How are people who can not CS or rotate or anything having MMR = to silver 1 who has fallen to silver 4 because i can not carry that hard. I know I'm not that good

It is based off mmr and they are around your level or you dropped to theirs. It's that simple.

Also norms is not taken serious so people could do bad just cuz

yeah i was only talking about rank. mmr is crap and that is why riot hides it. Half the people i play with have no idea what they are doing and i have to tell them to take drg or a turret. most chase the map to get a kill but wind up getting kill. Poeple who do not know how to rotate, take objectives, or even cs above 40 in 10 minutes should not have middle grade mmr. I'm tired of losing game with most kills on my team highest cs and least deaths but these other guys have the same skill lvl as me with 17 deaths in a game... no. the lower end of ranked match making is Bronze 5 to silver 2. thats over half of the ranked LoL players put together. that is why games are snow balled more often than not.

Well I know for ranked It's also based on your past games. If you have a history of loses, you will play with people who also have a history of losses. Even if you are not tilted, there's a good chance your teammates will be, so if you play well, you will most likely still lose. To top that off, you always will be matched against people who are doing well. Match making makes sure the players doing well keep doing well, and the players doing badly stay down. You could play well, but have completely tilted team mates who lose the game. Unfortunately you just have to break the cycle and win somehow to get matched with those better players. This is just ranked though, although it may be the case for norms also. Sad, huh?
