Can we just delete the PBE now?

I mean seriously, what were the goals of the PBE again... Oh yes, test out new content, provide feedback, and find bugs. So basically the PBE seems cool in concept, players get to test things, provide feedback that will be at read or at least responded too and Riot can find and get rid of bugs. Unfortunately, Riot doesn't listen to feedback. At all. Just look at the recent changes that have been received poorly. Veigar Cassiopeia Sona Karma Azir (His changes didn't really fix his problems) Garen Skarner Mordekaiser Darius The release of the new HUD MissFortune Just to name a few

And they don't fix bugs either, most recently with Fiora being disabled immediately upon live release. So basically Riot is determined to shove things down our throats no matter how much we protest, they're just being nice by letting us know earlier...??? The last time Riot listened to the community on a decision was with Lee Sin. So I ask this, why does the PBE exist? Riot doesn't listen to feedback at all and is determined to force their unwanted changes upon us.

What do you think?

They can't delete PBE! How can they pretend they listen to us then!?

PBE is not there for the intricate balancing act of champion balance, not really. When you regularly have Diamonds and Silvers getting queued with and against each other, the PBE provides very limited view on a champions balance outside of the PBE. That is of course, unless the change is obviously OP or UP etc.

Azir's was a serious mistake on Riot's part. They admitted that they revealed him too early when he was hardly close to finished. So they were forced to release him early to quench the player's thirst for new champions. With a ton of bugs.

Basically what I'm getting at here is that the PBE is more useful than you might think. It's just that Riot doesn't seem to be using it optimally. I say keep it as it is, the PBE is not the problem. It's developer to player communication and consideration that's the problem.

EDIT: Riot values their Reddit page for feedback more than their own boards. Even though they designed the boards to be more Reddit-like they still aren't using their communication tools optimally.

the problem with PBE is that 99% of the people on it dont test anything nor do they report anything, they use it only to try out new champs or reworks. riot then has to depend on the 1% that actually does while weeding through all of the complaints of the 99% bitching about balance rather than bugs.

azir is probably the biggest example of this. hardly anyone reported his bugs while on pbe.
