CLG and C9 are pretty much built for international play, so I'm not that surprised by them. EU was underrated all year. Fnatic lost today because they didn't take AHq serious. I don't think they will make that mistake again.

west is overall better than the east, but east has overlords on their side in the shape of the koreans.

I'm really interested in the KT Origen game. Origen is showing up strong, I think getting to be together and practice against harder teams though EU split and preworlds bootcamp (I mean they've only had a split of going against EU teams since they left challenger) has made them show up even stronger than expected (plus that 4 man ori ult from peke was possibly the most game changing play I've seen this worlds).

I'm also interested in the C9 Fnatic game to see if the AHQ game today was a fluke or not. I think if Huni pulls the same shit tomorrow that he did today C9 has a really good chance of taking 1st in the group. Huni WILL be up over balls (everyone has been so far) early and if he takes that too far and throws the lead back C9 has shown they can win easily even w/ balls behind badly early.

I'm really curious though how it goes, bc CLG had a super easy group compared to most, Fnatic was expected to be strong, and I'm not sure Origen wins the LGD game (definitely not as hard as they did) w/out that Ori ult making a massive win, so can Peke keep up those plays. C9 has been amazing to watch, but it's funny, I'm almost more interested in their off season than their worlds games. They are so much better than expected I'll be happy no matter what happens, even if they struggle next week (I think teams underestimated them and will prep better next week). However, Hai wants to retire and I'm not sure how they replace him, I think Lemon said he is retiring, and Balls has been behind early in both games so far (and by a lot). They may be looking at replacing almost as many players as Fnatic did.

None of them have beaten a Korean team. Don't get too hyped just yet.

And people told me I was an idiot when I said NA is going to win worlds this year!

Raise up your arms.

Give EU and NA your energy.

Even if you don't believe.

Fnatic won their first game by a wide margin. I also judge based on small sample sizes.

*7-4 RIP Fnatic

A lot of the good players from Korea and China left and joined better paying teams in NA and EU so it is expected that they will be doing better than the Asian region even though SKT is currently destroying at the moment.
