What do you guys think of these assassin reworks?
I've been a kat main for years. I fell in love with her playstyle with the sinister blades (w) rework, and now it feels like they are reverting it completely. She can't shunpo to wards anymore, and her burst got limited to a draven-like mechanic. I quit league 3 or 4 months ago after noticing that they were not doing anything to change champions like Graves/Gangplank/Volibear, because I did not agree with the direction they were heading with these reworks. I want to know how other Katarina mains feel about her specific rework. Does it come off as much weaker, or compliment her current playstyle? Or will this rework have another feel entirely. I would like to start playing league casually again, but with my current thought process, it doesn't look like it'd be fun to now that my main is getting completely altered in my favorite aspects (ward hopping, e+w combos for poke). For reference on my own skill level I was able to reach diamond 5 this season right before I decided to take an extended break from league, just to deter any arguments that perhaps I don't know what I'm not playing her properly in her current state (I recognize there are multiple ways to play her, my go to favorite however is burst priority targets or clean up the fight with high damage).
was destroyed
is very fun on PBE, her damage is much higher but the highest possible damage is telegraphed like Draven, so opponents have more counterplay to her now too
is fun,
are gonna be stupid
too
- Not really much has changed with him besides no more W passive and gets stronger if you kill a powerful champion. Really more of a fail simply because he can still play safe until 6 and then go all in.
- Really like the new evolutions, especially the new ult, so I'm looking foward to him
- Still annoying with E but removed DoT per missing health and made his ult a tad bit better I guess. So I guess he's slightly less annoying now.
