Like how do you even play ranked anymore?

Guys tell me I know things can get though and sometimes the games are unlucky but tell me does unlucky mean literaly every second game I play getting players so bad or the player diffrance is so big that everyone is literaly feeding and not only that they are inting. I'm talking 10+kills behind too early in the game while I'm getting blamed 50% of the times because in that time I'm jungler and for some weird reason in these players mind it's: 0 gank lose lane -> because they can't learn from their mistakes, they can't wait for me to clear jungle (not whole but jeez at least few camps) which sometimes takes eternity, no they have to constantly die and bitch in the chat how useless I am and that I didn't gank their lane.

Or the times where you get ARAM'd on mid but your team doesn't help and than flames you, let me tell you one example when it happened:

  • jungler comes mid, after few minutes toplaner came mid, after few minutes botlane was mid with around level 7 not even 10th minute no turrets pushed on both sides, and than everyone in lategame because mid is always for some reason prioritised. Ok and for all that my team blames me that I'm bad and that I picked Yi mid......... (literaly "you pick Yi mid")

I can't lie to you guys this seems like a really fun gameplay, I can imagine myself having fun in such a situation: being totaly out of control even if you are the strongest on your team - it just feels like so much fun.

you play ranked by picking meta, if you dont pick meta you usually lose, its annoying i know

DamSonWhUFndThis1 votes

no they lose with meta champs

ff 20 please ty1 votes

you picked yi mid, pick a meta champion in a meta lane if you really want to win i would suggest going flex or norms for meme picks even though they sweat in there it doesn't matter

DamSonWhUFndThis1 votes

yi is not meta but in good hands he is strong because I am not high elo but how do you play yi mid with useless team if you for example are losing the lane?

DamSonWhUFndThis1 votes

how do you play meta champs on account with not as many champs?

it's smurfing season.

its normal. i was diamond last season, still cant carry even though i have 100+ farm over laners @ this garbage elo and dont make shit 50/50 decisions, miss easily mechanical plays. there's just too much gold in game, have to play meta champs. or playing 1v9 champs. 10/0 yi and 0/10 yi is the same, champs that still get gold to snowball items.

s9 meta is legitimately no skill.

People in ranked are stupid. I was in my promos to gold getting yelled at by the midlaner after I told him to ping MIAs. He argued that as a support I should have seen his laner leave lane to head bot (no vision) and not be so easily ganked, and thus he shouldn't have to ping MIAs.

I was then later yelled at by a Talon who took Cull and was bitching that he needed to farm and that I was stealing his creep as I was keeping it off the tower. This is despite the fact that he never pushed the wave, and roamed profusely to try to gank the enemy Nasus (who fucked him hard every time) and the enemy Kha'Zix. His tower was the first to go, yet he claimed he was in a farm lane.

Your mid laner is absolutely correct.

Oleandervine2 votes

No, he wasn't. If he's not warding, and he doesn't ping MIA, he's not doing what he's supposed to do to give the team map awareness.

How could it be his fault that YOU didn't see the enemy mid wasn't in lane. That makes zero sense. If you're too lazy to pay attention to what's happening on the map and you die because of it, that's your fault. That's all on you.

DamSonWhUFndThis2 votes

so ur saying that he should give up on watching if the adc is alive, if enemy bot is iniciating, if the enemy jungler is coming, if the top is porting bot, if he is getting autoattacked, looking for oppertunities to iniciate, etc. and watch lazy mid if his laner is there because he can't press g or v and move his mouse slightly left once or few times or type ss in chat or something, when he is suppost to take care of character that can get literally almost oneshot if cc chained by enemy support?

FioraWillCarry1 votes

What does any of that have to do with being aware of what's happening on the map? If you want to sit and make up a million reasons why you shouldn't be aware then you can't blame anyone when it costs you your lane.

It has to do with team work. I am ONE PERSON on a team of FIVE. As a support, I have to deal with potential plays from not one, not even two, but THREE other players in my lane, and react to them in the appropriate way. I also have to watch my own lane, know where my enemy laners are or aren't, as well as watch areas nearby for potential ganks and keep wards up. I simply don't have the extreme luxury of time to be baby sitting mid lane and top lane as well as my own lane.

It's a common courtesy and just a general understanding of the game to expect your teammates to do the exact same thing in regards to their lane. It's not unreasonable to expect the mid laner or top laner to CALL THEIR MISSING LANERS. It's like League 101, and I dunno why it's suddenly too much of a chore for you to ping MIA when your laner goes missing. Hell, Mid is the lane where calling MIA is the most fucking important because Mid laners have a tendency to roam the most. If you are not calling your MIAs as a mid laner, you are not doing your job, simple as that. It's ridiculous to expect ONE person to know the whereabouts of 9 other people in the game. You need to help out as a member of the team, and not throw a diva fit when someone calls your shit out.

And also, if you're going to have this mentality that "Well I don't have to call MIAs cause other people should be watching my lane," then you don't get to whine like a child when you get ganked or when your turret falls because someone roamed to mid and killed you.

Thank you my friend. I've heard a lot of Challenger/Master tier players say that anyone can get Diamond and that Diamond is low elo. In all my years I have never believed this until now. If a Gold player can say what you just said, it means that Gold is way more of a noob elo that I thought and I need to be aiming higher. For years I was trying to get Gold. which I eventually succeeded in doing this season. But you've just shown me that I should have been aiming higher. I would never in my wildest dreams expect a Gold player to say some shit like that. Gold is not the elo I should have been aiming for. I know now that it's true what everyone has been saying all along, that Gold is little better than Bronze. Thank you my friend, you just taught me so much with that single statement and I mean that. I'm not being sarcastic or anything.

As for what you said, watch any Master or Challenger playing when they stream or when they make videos on Youtube. They always, at every point, have an idea of where everyone is on the map. Karasmai in particular takes this to the extreme. Watch any of his games and you would grow dizzy at how frequently he moves his screen around the map to constantly update himself on the state of every lane. He ALWAYS knows where everyone is at every point in the game. It's one of the few things I've been able to incorporate into my own play, though not to such an extent as good as them but enough to make a difference in my games. I almost never die to roams because I have a habit of constantly watching the mini-map. I don't even think about doing it. It's like walking to me at this point. That statement you made is pure bullshit and it only proves that you don't want to put any effort into winning for yourself or improving your own gameplay.

You are rather naïve to believe that high ELO players don't communicate effectively with their team in order to form a cohesive unit. Communication is how players succeed.

If you fail to understand this, then you need to rethink how you climb.

FioraWillCarry1 votes

Do you even watch streams? High elo players mute their team mates half the time, especially if when they are smurf in our elo.

In any case, I don't think there is any point in explaining anything to you because you and I have two very different approaches to life. In real life, I try not to associate or have any conversation with people like you.

You see, in any thing I do in life, I always try to do it the best way I can. I'm always asking myself how can I do something better, more efficient, faster. When you said this:-

It's ridiculous to expect ONE person to know the whereabouts of 9 other people in the game.

It told me everything I needed to know about the kind of person you are. You see, because if I had this thought, my next immediate thought would be, "Is it ridiculous?, can it be done?". Then I'd try to see if it is actually impossible. However, you are the kind of person that says it's impossible and make a bunch of excuses, cry and complain. I know a lot of people that think like this and I try to stay away from them. They sit around and complain all day about their lot in life and how this person or that person is responsible for them being failures in life and they never think to put the effort to improve their situation. I'm sorry but you remind me of those people. There is no point in associating with a person like that. They will just bring you down and make you losers like them. If its ok for you to accept mediocrity, it isn't for me.
