Why would Riot remove team 5s???
Why would Riot remove team 5s??? it makes no sense, nothing is gained. I want to queue with some friends that are lower..... You can still have dynamic queue and keep teams 5s? It was already implemented wtf....

It was difficult for the vast majority of players to regularly compete in 5s. If someone couldn't show up you have to find a sub, and if you have to remove people from the roster to make room people get upset and might even not get rewards, and you could only swap people into the roster a few times before having to wait. It was also heavily abused due to the lack of tier restrictions; anyone that couldn't get to Gold in Solo/Duo Queue would group with high tier players and try to place in Gold or get there quickly.
Dynamic Queue solves all of those problems, except the impossible situation with the high elo players using smurfs; there's nothing that can be done about that.
