Riot is aware this bug exists, but they don't do anything about it. They claim to have fixed it every few patches, but they didn't do shit. IF YOU HAVE A NUKE SKILLSHOT THAT 2 SHOTS YOUR ADC AT LVL 18, THEN YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SEE THE DAMN SPEAR FFS.
Also, nerf Nidalee.
While they're at it they should also change Headhunter's spears so that they're not next to invisible
I agree with OP, the spears need to be invisible 100% of the time - not just sometimes. Rito fix this bug pls
Sometimes you can't even see the visual effects. It sucks when you are clearing a wave, acknowledging Nid might be nearby, ready to dodge, and you die randomly
they are turning it invisible to increase counterplay
ITT: people trying to defend nidalee when the thread is about fixing a game breaking bug.
She's overpowered, but this is a separate issue. Nidalee isn't the only champ with invisible skillshot bugs. I've seen (or not seen it) with morg snare too. Getting locked for 3s because of an invisible morg snare as kogmaw is a good way to guarantee your death.
All is see half the time is the particles coming from it. Nobody is complaining about Mundo his hatchets are completely invisible.
I encountered it pretty recently. My team's mid-laner suddenly dropped dead from around half-health when he was helping out in bottom. Made him rage pretty hard.
Either A.) They make the spears EASILY visible, since they are already slow traveling and have a super thin hitbox.
or B.) Reduce the spears damage values.
If I can see the spears, it's my fault I got hit. If I can't see the spears, at least make it so that it doesn't do 1k damage

I prefer it like this. Instead of getting stressed about dodging every spear, I just laugh my ass off when I insta-die at 1000 health. Playing against Nidalee is a lot more fun this way.

Guys, OP's talking about how you can't see her spears atm, as there is this visual bug where you can't see her spears when thrown. It's not even that qq'ing about how strong she is. Well, she is strong, I mean.
there's also been a bug recently where her spears just flat out go through everything. sometimes it just goes through a couple minions and hits you, sometimes it goes through everything all the time.
Remember when Vel'Koz would turn people's screens blue during Legend of the Poro King? He got disabled for the entirety of that event, and thoroughly humiliated at the same time. And LotPK was a featured, temporary game mode. So why is Nidalee not being disabled when the bug affects normal and ranked games?
I'm a Nidalee main as well, but I can confirm it happens sometimes even when playing her. I thought it was lag at first but obviously it's not if it's happening to others. Like previously said, it doesn't happen every game.
Nidalee can easily be countered if you just stay behind minions while farming and moving away when she tries to position herself for a spear. Always call her MIA's as she will easily pick up kills from other lanes if you starve her this way and don't call them.

I think that its an uncommon bug since I have never seen this bug or had a champ magically disapear by nidalee, it might be similar to having a blue box where singed's poison goes.
