Myths about the "Assassin meta" and "Tank meta"

Alright kids, a lot of you use these two word combinations without even knowing what you are talking about. Season 4 - Season 5 pre-Cinderhulk was not an "Assassin meta", it was just a meta with limited champion viability. What was the Assassin meta? The Assassin meta was during (early) Season 3, when every Assassin you could imagine was very strong: (Yes, Ahri was actually an Assassin back then and not a mobility mage like right now) (1 shot spears, lel) . I am not joking, all these Assassins were strong and could dominate the game on their own. This was the Assassin meta. They eventually got nerfed, some faded away, some lingered till now, with the fall of Assassins.

Now people are claiming there is a "Tank meta", no there isn't. Tanks aren't dominating the game on their own and not many tanks are viable, only some. This meta is actually pretty diverse and you can play a lot of different roles and champions effectively, even Assassins. Some Assassins have been overnerfed though:

My ranked champion pool is: and I enjoy this meta. Do I miss the S3 Assassin meta? Yes, the games were over very fast, a lot of snowballing and (team) fights were decided in mere seconds :)

With the next patch will make a return and start pwning some fr00bz once again and we will have literally one of the most, if not the most, diverse meta in a long time.
