Can we AT LEAST get a loss forgiven in 4v5's where someone doesn't even connect?

Honestly. It's absolutely absurd that in SIX years, we still don't have a solution to blatantly unfair games.

I know there are some ways a system could be abused, but in a case where someone doesn't even connect, how can that be abused?

I could duo with another fake account and every game just d/c. That way i get a win if i win the 4v5 and if we lose it doesn't hurt me. That's one way it could be abused. Is it worth all that work? Maybe not.

Chances are you're not gonna win a 4v5 against a team with any sort of competence.

I'v seen my fair share of 4v5 wins. And if there is 0risk vs reward on it i can see people doing it. Like i said its by far not the most effective means but something that could happen.

I agree. They should create a way to detect when teammates leave games and depending on the amount of time they are gone the less LP you will lose and the less MMR you will lose.

Similarly if an enemy leaves a game you should be awarded less LP and less MMR rating depending on the total amount of time they were disconnected.
