@meddler Why no love for nidalee?

Why hasn't nidalee gotten any buffs to help her out in lane? A bunch of top laners have gotten buffs recently and it has put her even farther behind in toplane it feels terrible. Take jax for example he was a champion that even in nidalee's prime she wasn't a winning match up against but she was atleast able to trade back and forth with him. However now when a jax jumps onto a nidalee she can't trade back with him at all due to him instantly getting press the attack up on her. that moment after he would jump in was when she could trade back some damage but no you have to run away immediately and you still probably wont make it out alive. Nidalee has the same weaknesses (and more) as she used to when she was a viable top laner however now she doesn't have any of the same strengths. She really needs some help to be playable again without being a burden on her team.

They wanted her to be a jungler man... every former nidalee player waited and hoped and you either conformed and became a jungler or moved on. Zoe has the similar pattern lane nidalee used to have if you're looking for something similar

Well this is mainly about top bruiser nid. But I do wish she could go mid again as well and fight for that too because I know alot of old school nidalee players would love to play her again too. Zoe is not the same I'm not talking about pre rework spear nidalee. Top lane for example she was about poking people down,being mobile, and dealing with extended damage trades. Her weakness was being blown up or locked down. She still has this weakness but she also just suffers from not being able to deal damage or sustain in lane at all anymore.

She's fine ... except for one very big thing: you hit late game. Doesn't matter you're 10-0, you'll be super trash because the ADC or mid caster will kill you before you can jump and combo.

What nidalee needs is not damage but a little more tanky-ness, even if it comes at the cost of her self-heal being lowered. At least comparable to Diana, that can burst harder late game and still be more solid.

Yup agreed. though I don't think her heal needs nerfed maybe the scaling for ap nidalee. She needs her mobility and her resets back. She falls off way to hard. She could always use her tanky stats back on cougar form. I've had game when I've played against other people top who clearly do not play the lane or champion they picked and I dominate them but as soon as mid game comes around I become useless. But against normal players who do know what to do you won't even make it to the point to begin with .Nidalee has just had so much of her power and mechanics stripped away because she was to good at jungle. Lane nidalee got shafted for not even being good.
