More specifically, does her ult animation make her invulnerable to cc and damage for a split second (though she is not invulnerable to DOT)?

It's possible he's never played Camille and Riot isn't always the best at explaining the differences between being untargetable, rooted, grounded, stunned, silenced, etc.
I had to go through League's wiki pages to learn EXACTLY what goes on during the different forms of CC
