So is Master Yi considered healthy...?

I think he's fine, I've heard him called the new player destroyer, and that seems good to me. He's an early problem new players have to figure out how to fix. In other words, he's the gate keeper.

It doesn't matter how good you are at the game, a late game master yi is fking toxic. His only saving grace is that he's absolutely useless early on, kind of like Poppy.

I suppose you weren't around before yi's rework that occurred in S3.

Yi is at a fine spot, hes not even played high elo because hes so easily countered. All you have to do is stop wasting Hard CC until the yi shows up.

Master Yi, Fizz, and Darius are all champions who are currently broken imo. The only thing seriously wrong with Yi is his Alpha Strike, Q. A 600 range +100% AD 4 target ability that removes you from combat (invincibility) and reduces CD with AA and outranges everyone's AA aside from Cait and Annie all on a melee swordsman is broken beyond all Hell.

don't complain, they got rid of the randomness on q, got rid of ap yi (RIP AP YI), got rid of ful refresh on r and, nerfed the passive too, AP yi used to be the most broken shit besides when ad morde used to exist

Even if you try to cc him, he has an ability to dodge it and easily can 5 v 1 any team. If you don't get at least 10 kills as yi you need help. I stopped playing him early on because it's incredibly unfair and even if i got 30 kills it would be no accomplishment. he's also immune to turret aggro with Q and w.

I'm often hesitant to join in these type of discussions, however I am going to have to agree here. Not long ago I played a game where my whole team was doing quite well (every lane was winning), and the other team had a Jungle Yi that just wrecked us quite literally by himself. We won some fights against him if we could land our CC but others it was next to impossible when our CC abilities were on cooldown or missed while he was untargetable. Exhaust was next to useless and if he even got close enough for a Q our squishes health was pretty much gone even if they managed to live from the skirmish.

On another note I think abilities that make you "untargetable" have to really be looked at as a whole as it makes counterplay very hard.

He's a less skilled higher reward version of katarina. More AoE burst that actually occurs faster, that can sustain himself, every 2 seconds you've taken 5 on hits effects and probably 300 true damage :D equally fed irelia can probably take him right? lawl

As I've posted before there is only ONE NA challenger who uses Yi, and for good reason. He sucks at high ELO.
