Switch Pick Order Not Champions

Why is it that we have the option to swap champions in the champ select. So that people can wait to see their matchups, get a priority champion early in the picks, or putting yourself farther down the line to give you time to decide. So why is it that our friends or matchmade teammates must have your champion pool and you, theirs?

I propose the idea of having a small period before or using any time during the draft phase to swap pick order with another player, just as you would originally have swapped champions with them. The swap buttons are there, you press it and it asks them if they want to swap with you. This swaps pick order, rather than champions. So that just like competetive league of legends, players have much more control of what position gets last pick for counters or first pick for priorities.

In ARAM and other random pick modes without draft alternations, you are still able to swap champions. Pick order swapping would be applied where necessary.

Please tell me what you think about this idea and if RIOT has considered something like this before. Also, comment any changes or additions you think would be suitable to the system. Thank you!
