It seems that ever since the ADC rework, the ability to do damage has increased a ton. ADCs tend to feel like assasins, killing you in 2-4 auto attacks, generally faster than most assasins might kill you. I see ADCs getting bursted in one hit by the new assasins and tanks bursting down people in 2-6 seconds. I understand tanks need to have threat, but tanks/juggernaughts should not be able to outburst mid laners or fighters. Their strength should be in their ability to outlast a fight not to outlast and outdeal in a fight. Overall, I feel there is not a class in the game that cannot kill you in 2-4 seconds, unless you build tanky. Then you can tank the damage, but also kill them.

I feel this is part of where the problem of seeing a lot of assasins built tanky comes from. As a mid lane main, I dont know that it is healthy to fear being bursted by the enemy tanks more than their carries. Tanks that build no damage should not do the same damage than people who build full damage in a given time frame. Since they can last a much longer time frame in a fight, they should do less damage per second. I see a decent amount of tanks carrying and having 30% of the teams damage done if not 40-50. Nobody can kill these tanks and these tanks can kill almost anyone. There may need to be slightly better options to itemize against tanks without highly sacrificing itemization towards everyone else. I have played both sides of the table and its hard not to want to play tankier champions, because everyones burst is so high it almost highly promotes RoA and rylais builds to survive and tank assasins. Also towers feel very underpowered compared to the tankiness that can be achieved. Im not sure why the towers lazers were switched back to shots, but I felt the lasers didnt stall the game too much, but still made the towers feel safe to be around. its hard to justify towers being an objective when most tank champions in the game are tankier and do more damage than any tower. It would be nice to not just feel safe around a tower up to level 5 or so.

Overall I feel there may need to be itemization and kit changes to help ADCs deal more consistent damage instead of burst damage, to tanks as well. Changes to help tanks be tanky, but not burst anyone unless their kit scales off of the stats theyre building. Finally, if mid lane assasins can build the same 3 items as top lane tanks and be successful, more so than mid lane, it may not be a kit problem, but a problem with the items theyre using. I know these items were already hit before, when every top lane built them. Ultimately, tanks should tank damage and crowd control, mages should control or burst, assasins should burst, (all burst having reasonable counterplay and 2 seconds being a reasonable amount of time to kill an opponent, if played optimally without being countered) and marksman should deal consistent damage able to deal with tanks that want to be in the front line, but not burst squishy targets in 3 autos or less.
