Just an Alistar rework idea .

Hi everyone , just thought id create and give a little rework idea on Alistar to change my mind from all the crap that's going on lately in life ! Hope you will love it !

Maybe a rioter will read this , maybe not . Would love to get a reply from them though if possible as this is a rework that can actually really fit Alistar in my opinion , giving some counter-play so we can give him some power elsewhere easily .

I'm terribly bad with writing context so I will go straight with the rework , just ask questions and I will happily answer them . I will put random numbers that are not balanced at all as it cant be tested .

New passive : Every time Alistar cast a spell he gains 20% movement speed for 2.5 seconds afterwards and ignores unit collision . This will help him chase way more easily targets to CC them while removing his terribly bad passive he haves right now that all it does is pushing waves and tickling champions .

Q : Change the AP ratio to AD , something like 60% bonus AD ( now makes sense with his ult AD boost ).

W : No longer is a targeted ability , Alistar only charges forward , for counter-play .

  • Has an AD ratio instead of AP like pulverise , something like 75% bonus AD .
  • Now Alistar stays stationary up to 1.75 second , charging his headbutt to increase its range , from 600 up to 1200 .
  • When Alistar hits an enemy champion , minion or monster , they will get stuck on his horns ( mess with the bull and you get the horns ) and alistar will bring them with him until he stops , if he hits a wall or structure with enemies stuck on his horns , they will be stunned for 0.5 seconds , if not , enemies are slowed for 1 second . ( Maybe give it a max of enemies that can be stuck within his horns . )
  • The longer it is charged , the faster Alistar will run . Speed : 700-950 .

E : Remove that heal , let's get something new ( and scary ) !

  • New name : Ground shaking roar .
  • Alistar screams so loudly that it makes the ground shake , slowing all the enemy champions around him , stunning minions and monsters while dealing damage over time .
  • Radius : 500/525/550/575/600 .
  • Damage per second : 15/30/45/60/75 + 20% bonus AD (deals half of this damage every 0.5 seconds) .
  • Duration : 3 seconds .
  • Has a 0.5 seconds cast time .
  • Slow percentage : 10/15/20/25/30%

R : Bonus AD reduced to 40/50/60 .

  • Damage reduction changed to 55/65/75% against enemy champions , minions and monsters physical and magic damage .
  • Now has a damage reduction for towers that is different 35/55/75% .
  • Alistar gets bigger in size , making it easier to soak up damage from skill-shots ( 25% increase ) .
  • Skills are getting buffs with ultimate levels .
  • Level one ultimate gives pulverise 75 more range .
  • Level 2 ultimate gives headbutt 30 wider area to ram people down .
  • Level 3 ultimate makes Ground shaking roar no longer have a cast time and now lasts 4 seconds .

So what do you think ? I've put a lot of time to do this , I'm pretty sure this is OP but it's ideas only and so I will be happy to put your ideas on that thread too ! Ask me questions like i said , will be happy to answer them all !

After reading a few things. First, if this were to go through, people's buttholes would clinched up because his E, damage ratio changes and passive makes him viable in the jungle again which would more then likely make him op again, not as much as season 2 but still. Second, most people miss that Alistar's current passive allows him to ignore unit collision which makes him a menace in lane and is almost like an MS buff because he doesn't have to travel around that minion wall after he casts his current E. It also allows him to have a scary initiation with talisman late game even when minions are around. I would like to see him keep this ignoring unit collision. Finally, I don't really understand what you mean by "Alistar is now able to move during puvlerize". Does this mean that he effectively has a longer range because during the 1 second cast time(or however long it is) he can move closer to his target? Seems weird to have this on an almost instant spell.

I would like to add that I DO actually like this, just needs a little bit of changing to keep the oppressive power of alistar out of the jungle.

Bonus AD ratios would be good because then his jungle clear will be slower. His E imo is fine for team fights, I was just thinking early on in the jungle. Having an ability stun minions/monsters is really good to minimize damage along with hunter's machete. With changing his abilities to bonus AD though, I think that it won't be as op. You just have to be careful with alistar because his jungling can and will become ridiculous if you try to change things. There won't be any escaping once Alistar hits 3, even under turret. That's why his jungling speed has to be slow.

I do like the new passive, if it has ignores unit collision I would say bump it down to 10-15% MS. I'm not that great with coming up with ideas lol, I am a little bit better with things like how it might turn out. Now that I think about it though, with that E stunning minions and how its not a heal anymore and a slow, I don't know if he would need the "ignore unit collision" because now he can just headbutt to an enemy champion after charging up which is nice. I guess the "ignore unit collision" would be nice during a fight after using his spells to body block some cc/damage.

I'm just bouncing things off of you right now to see what comes out.

Massive AD ratios Still has a ridiculous amount of hard CC, now has aoe soft CC Now scales full well off of raw AD and penetration, terrifying
