[Gameplay & Balance] Speaking of "Counter-play" what about Nasus?
Why the hell has riot not nerfed nasus's w to oblivion??? First it isn't a skillshot, it is just point and click and obliterate someones movement. When riot reworked ryze, they made his q into a skillshot so there is more counter play and factors in players skill so instead of thinking, if I walk too close to ryze I will take free harass, they think I have a X chance of taking free harass. Nasus works the same way, any champion with a range of 600 or less will essentially cc'd to death.
Second, the cc is absurd. A five second slow that slowly ramps up to basically a snare? Like sure, there are some stupidly long cc's like ashes arrow(from long range) and fiddle fear, rammus taunt and etc. But ashe's stun means that she has to be really far away and fiddle and rammus's cc isn't as long as nasus's slow. Another thing is, when you get tenacity for nasus's slow it makes the slow% increase faster unlike other cc's and make the cc time shorter.
Lastly, the cd of the spell is dumb. 11 second cd for a 5 second slow, it's a 45% up time on any given person without cooldown reduction. With CDR there is a 1.6 delay between the slows which is a 75% up time, like wtf? I used to think when I vsed nasus as adc "maybe if I got qss I could cleanse it and hopefully kill him in time before he applies it on me again."The cd of your qss or other defensive item is on a much longer cd than his w. But the cd is so low it gives you a brief opportunity to fight back before getting cc'd again.
My suggestions on how maybe we could add some counter play to his w: -Make it so tenacity reduces the slow's time but not accelerating the % of the slow -Make it a fast skill shot so people have a chance to dodge it -Increase the CD of the slow -Change the skill all together -Reduce the range
