You are waiting in login que for over an hour. Then you get the "Cannot connect to PVP.net" and are forced to log in again and then wait another hour.

Yes, we all hate the fact the servers are derping the hell out. And it sucks. IT TOOK THREE DAYS FOR MY CLIENT TO UPDATE. THEN IT WOULDN'T LOG ON FOR TWO DAYS - LAST NIGHT INCLUDED WTF RITO PLZ GET IT FINISHED ASAP!!!

I've had that issue with the new patch, fail to login the first time every time. Its as simple as closing the client and logging in again.
