Refunding In-Game

Now when you start off the game you begin with 3 refund points, where you can refund 3 things and 3 things only. (I'm pretty sure its 3, if not then please tell me I haven't refunded things in YEARS since you can only refund 3 things.) I've been playing the game for years, and this has never changed, I just recently messed up after saving up for something for two weeks, and I wanted to know why hasn't the refunding system been updated? Maybe add something like a refund token that you can get from playing the games? Kind of like a key fragments but rarer? Or give refunds per month or even per season?
