So idk if i got this wrong i like Hecarim think hes great overall champion. But is his ult underpowered? i feel like it is, I mean hes not my favorite champ and i dont play him a ton, but at the start his ult only does 150 damage + AP which isnt good at all in my books. and a 1 second fear which is very weak and fades fast. is it just me not understanding how to use it or is that up? i mean i get it its engager, and great for ganking but the cd is 140s from start with very little damage and a very very short stun, i mean there is champions who's basic abilities, Q/W/E have stuns longer then that.

ex: Fiddlesticks same fear starts 1.25 sec then gets longer, pantheons W is a solid 1 second hold stun, cho'goths aoe knock up, amumu, jarvans ult crater, shaco's box's, rammus taunt even nerfed still more effective, veige etc. the list goes on and on and on

anyways point is it does very little damage and is amplified by AP damage which he uses more AD so idk what that's about, but the stun is so ineffective and the damage is very small. Thoughts?

His ult is fine. I just want them to fix his E sometimes pushing them the wrong way.

The ultimate can send opponents in any direction you want it to. It's like a malphite ult but instead of locking down targets hit you disposition them and usually are able to make 1 run straight into your team in the process.

His numbers were purposely nerfed into unviability awhile ago but so long as he goes untouched he should be slowing rising back up with each patch due to other junglers being nerfed. This has been true for the last few patches.

His ultimate is amazing. The numbers aren't insanely high, but it's a fast moving, impossible to interrupt AoE dash that repositions enemy champions. The fear duration the damage don't need to be crazy for this ability to be incredibly strong and disruptive.

Hecarim is an initiator, and his ult is what he uses to initiate. It's a great ganking tool, and it can easily win a game if he lands a good hit in a team fight.

You also have to think about the synergy it has with his kit. His whole design rewards him heavily for being in the middle of the enemy team, soaking up heals from his W and spamming his Q. His ultimate gets him into the middle of the enemy team, which is exactly where he wants to be.

Plus, if he activates his E, ults behind a champion, then runs back into them, he can actually move his target a surprisingly large distance.

His stun is actually less than a second long

Make him immune to cc while ulting. (If not already)

It is weak, but it doesn't need to be strong. He does work anyway if he's not behind in gold. His ult works with his other abilities and Spellblade on Trinity. Your other teammates, I'll use Riven as an example, can then pwn anyone you don't stomp while they're feared. Granted, it requires timing and coordination, but it's pretty damn good if you can pull it off.

What you might be experiencing is his ****** early game. It is garbage. I love Hecarim, but I don't use him that often because other junglers will run you out of your jungle and a gank-centered strategy makes him really feast or famine. One slip-up can put you behind. Hecarim blooms lategame. The problem with that is typically junglers are needed at earlier stages so you may have just experienced that.
