A new method to Stop trolling and instant lockers

Tired of having to see good players have to duck out to avoid dealing with jerks and trolls in champion select?

Tired of being punished for refusing to play with trolls and big jerks while they get away with it with only a slap on the wrist?

Or just tired of seeing trolls and jerks in champion select doing whatever they want not carrying about anyone?

Then keep reading cause this post is for you.

So I came up with this idea. When i had a few games where someone was just being an absolute jerk and I just got tired of seeing it. So when we were in champion select got another jerk troll and this guy instant locked his champion after knowing he lost his pick. Which I've seen a lot its annoying but o well. But then he was saying who cares if you report me i get reported almost every game and i get away with it so you could "suck it". So the idea occurred to me why not create a system where if 4/5 of the team agrees while still in the champion select to remove someone from the game and refresh the countdown so they don't have to deal with the trolls. Or the people just being total jerks right from the start cause they think they can get away with it.

IN SHORT: Implement a new system, where if 4/5 of a team vote to remove someone in champion select do to being an obvious jerk or troll. Those removed will receive negative marks same is if they'd have been reported at end of game and be forced to wait the 5 min ditch period.

RESULTS: trolls and jerks will be able to be handled before a game so the good players aren't punished to have to duck out of a game/ or ranked match. While the troll and jerks takes the punishment. It should lead to fewer trolls in game and a less aggressive environment in champion selection. for those worried about premade groups limitations can be placed to stop them. such as 4/5 premade que can't use this feature if u have a 3/5 or 2/5 u have restrictions on this and if your caught constantly doing it u receive negative marks and lose the right to use it such as if your doing it to troll people

I'm sure some people might troll this system but as a whole i think it be more helpful then hurtful. Post comments below up if you like the idea or come up with your own idea to the solution and post below. or else = Sion

i think a vote to kick troll or douchebag players is a great idea and i wish this could be a reality so many games i've played have been lost simply from the champion select and this is very frustrating.

Yea, I don't see how this could possibly get abused in any way :/

Here is a scenario for you, you are in a solo queue lobby and you decide you want to play some heimerdinger. Heimerdinger is your favourite champion and you are really good at him. Your team decides that heimerdinger is a troll pick and that you are a troll. They then get counterpicked by the opposing team making it less likely for them to win. So they do what anyone would do, they vote to kick you, the heimerdinger, just so they can find different opponents.

This system you proposed puts far too much power in the players hands. To assume nobody would abuse this power is naive.

Bad idea. I see alot of voting just because someone picked an unconventional lane and meta slaves QQ about it and vote em.

A system that encourages people to kick the "problem" rather than "accept" and "solve" it, that in itself is a problem.

My vote is no.

inb4 someone decides they want to choose a non-meta pick and get kicked and punished for it

What's about the 5 people in the other team? They also got ditched and forced to re-queue, none of which was 'trolling'.
