Kat can spin attack while frozen?

I was Lissandra mid against Kat a game ago. Even though it was easy for me to stone her, I had some serious issues with how things worked between the two. It has little to do with balance, but more so with common sense. Kat can still spin and continuously attack while FROZEN by Liss's W or R. The way I use Lissandra is more initiator than killer, and she has been extremely successful in this role. But if the freeze would actually freeze I could actually play her to get some more kills.

Dunno about R, but W is only a snare. Snares don't stop channels, so yes, Kat can keep spinning while snared.

W is a root.

Lissandra's R is a stun, and should NOT allow katarina to spin2win.

Her W is only a root, and therefore allows channels to be completed.

Lissandra's W will "freeze" Katarina in place. I refer to this more as a root. She can no longer run away, but can still use her spins (W and R), autoattack, and throw her Q.

Lissandra's R will "freeze" Katarina by stunning her, meaning she can no longer act. She cannot use any of her abilities, auto attack, or move.

It seems though she can complete her actions if started before I ult her.

This is the second time I've heard mention of Lissandra's Ult not properly stunning, I might have to confirm it and put in bug reports too (and like the others said, W is just a root).
