Riot. Sweetheart....

Before i begin: Mark Yetter Testing some changes to akali shroud to give opponents more options to retaliate against her: -Slightly longer time delay before she stealths -Spells partially through their cast time will complete instead of cancel -Akali shows a "shimmer" of herself briefly after stealthing

Here's the link: https://twitter.com/MarkYetter/status/1071479765897424896

Now to continue: Riot. Sweetheart. Booboola. Ya 3omree. Ya Khaye. Ya habibi. (translation: My life, my brother, my dear.)

The solution is literally simple. Revert Akali's shroud to its old self where turrets can see her and attack her.

It's really simple as abc. Is it too much to ask? Just revert whatever nerf you did for her shroud, and remove the true stealth.

I don't think the current ideas for the shroud change will fix the problem of the ban rate. Just listen what the community is saying. Because not listening and going on your accord will harm the champion and this game even more.

I don't know what they will do to Irelia though. But i am not even surprised that she is getting a major change.

Why can’t they just make it so she’s revealed under her turret? She’s not op anymore, and these changes will just make the shroud clunky.

Remove true stealth under turret, and Akali will see more games and fair performances.

So i'm not the only one who had the exact same thought. [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]

"I just woke up." Relate-able. 100% relate-able.

Because then the low-elo'ers will lose with her more often; plus, barely any Akali players use their shroud under turret, considering how much risk there is.

I think a good compromise (even though I dont feel as if Akali should get these W nerfs) would be to make it so that the turret cannot attack her in the shroud, but the opponents can not only see her but target her with abilities, just to make it so that while the turret cant do anything about Akali towerdiving, but you can.

Wow how simple. How helpful and how accurate. So you expect Akali to just stand in her shroud under turret and allow her enemy to use their skillshots and "deal" with her towerdiving?

HELLO?!? Do you have any idea what you just said? Or what the issue with Akali even is? Even with the skillshots they didn't help with the issue whatsoever. [zombie-brand-facepalm]

Cries of a bronze player who, instead of trying to find out how to counter the shroud, just go blab to rito about how OP it is. This is why Riot ignores the boards.

Reported for elo shaming, and i'm not even Bronze.

You don't get it do you? Akali's tools and mechanics are very frustrating to play against on ALL elos, whether you go 0/10 against her or even 10/0. Even when you win against her, she's frustrating to play against. I'll say it again.

Even when you win against her, she's frustrating to play against.

Do you even hear yourself? She has abysmal win rates on ALL ELOS, and it's been that way for MONTHS. Oh, because she's a new champion? News flash: Nunu has a higher winrate than her, and he came out a month after Akali did. And assassins, once they lose lane, can't even retaliate, so your petty argument how she can be a struggle when you're 10/0 says a lot about your skill level. I think you're just stupid, dude. You make ZERO sense. THIS is why Riot ignores crybabies like you; instead of trying to deal with a champion you dont know, you just ignorantly cry "NERF [insert champion here] PLZ!!!" Are you gonna report the truth this time?

Yet all elos are complaining about her. Frustrating to play against doesn't mean win rate has to be high or low. Win rate means nothing while it's being abused to oblivion. If Akali wasn't banned so much even in her current state, who knows what her win rate will be but it still doesn't matter, she's still a toxic champion. I never said she was a struggle even when you go 10/0. But still unfun to play against. You don't even know my skill level so don't go on with that. Just because a champion is frustrating to play against doesn't mean I don't know how to play against it. This type of mindset is just stupid.

Actually, you know what. Piss off from my thread. Bye.

Quoted by you, btw.

I'm tired of this discussion; it doesn't matter how much you complain. Riot will never remove Akali's obscurity. At least not in the near future, and you know that. It doesn't matter if she's hard to play against. The facts states that she loses the majority of the games she is in. Riot sees this and thinks "Hey, we should buff her!". I do not blame them. Their reasoning is accurate. Complaining in the board isn't going to do squat. Also I'm surprised you didn't report that last post [slayer-jinx-wink]

No! Really? I thought it was quoted by Batman!

Screw it. Search up some high elo peeps or whatever who talked about Akali. Some of them had my point of view too, even Prof Akali.

"Also I'm surprised you didn't report that last post." You have the right to speak your point. But none of us (not even me) has the right to say "you're bronze you have no right to speak." And since there are complaints about Akali on ALL elos, my own rank is irrelevant when it comes to complaining. Look at Yasuo. Low elo complain about him (not me though. I'm use to his bs), yet he's trash in higher elo.

There is a difference. Plus even if I did, I doubt any action will be taken since it doesn't meet the boards rule.

How to make akali a playable champion: Step 1: JUST GET RID OF THE FUCKING TRUE STEALTH UNDER TURRET, IT'S NOT THAT FUCKING HARD garbage company Step 2: the champ is finally playable I swear akali mains are fucking delusional as fuck if they think true stealth under turret is unique and balanced.

Actually...even Akali mains want the true stealth removed.

It's funny because "true stealth" only really matters under towers and it's really not that much usefull. Her banrate is really people going REEEEE because she might use it to dive someday. So yeah, removing true stealth would be a good move. Not that it would really change her, but you gotta appease the livestock every once in a while.

I don't mind dying to an Akali anywhere when i make a mistake or anything, but dying under my own turret where it's useless is where i draw the line and say "no".

If you are in a situation where Akali can safely kill you under your tower, then almost half the champions can do that too. Xerath can do that under his own tower, Zed has his shadow, Evelynn dashes away + loses tower aggro while executing you, Garen reduces tower damage by a bunch, vladimir loses tower aggro, Lissandra can self R or E away, really listing them randomly.

Also, how many times akali does that on average per game? Probably less than 1. Removing her true stealth will appeal to people that are more afraid of what she could do in a perfect situation for her than what she actually does, meaning that she won't suffer to much from the change while reducing by a bunch her banrate.

Xerath's abilities are telegraphed and can be easily dodged (the hitbox needs a fix though). Zed and Evelynn are very quick and only need a second. Garen is a juggernaut. Vladimir will be sacrificing his own escape and while being a big pool he can't use any other abilities to do damage. Lissandra same with Vlad except she can't move.

Akali can use her shroud under turret and can avoid turret aggor for literally 8 seconds max (i think now 7 after the nerf). And none of them are even a form of stealth like Akali. Just being un-targetable but at a cost of not being able to do something else at the same time.
