Cheap Strat

If you're doing duo, the most braindead cheap ass trick is malphite + yasuo. It requires zero skill for either champ. Malphite can either go top or jungle. Learn how to farm. Yasuo mid/ learn how to farm.

Malphite can ult straight into the enemy carry. Always, the more enemy champ you land your ult on, the better, but it's not a must. If you just land your ult on adc, and yasuo ult along with you right after, and just one yasuo's q after your combo, rip, carry. And then proceed to 4v5. You can't even qss this cuz it's a knock up.

If you're doing solo q, learn how to play tryndamere. This is what you do. You farm to get fury up. You w when they turn their backs on you.You spin to him, and auto him to death. Take conquerer. Build PD and IE. Sit top when drag is bot. Sit bot when herald is up. Be as obnoxious as possible. Tryndamere currently has no counter. If they enemy has teemo, then buy qss. Ignite will do half the dmg. You just need to land a couple more hit. If they pick nasus, you don't even need the armor pen. Just auto him to death,with IE and conquerer done. Screw the ninja tabi. Screw malphite. Nothing can stop conquerer and IE. Enemy picked bruiser top like fiora and riven? Shit on them with tryndamere. You know I miss those days when Nasus and malphite used to counter tryndamere. Nowadays, it's the other way around.

If you're a second pick, there is no need to absolutely play tryndamere. Just learn a few champs that "counters" trydamere. I'd say it's probably teemo that counters tryndamere the most. Just pick jayce or something and shit on that little yordle. If they pick mundo or something, pick fiora and you'll shit on him (you can still shit on him with tryndamere, but fiora does it better. Or darius. Darius can easily outduel him and he's a braindead champ). You will, however, can maybe a couple of games out of 20 where your other lanes feed more than usual. Consider those unlucky games. That's something you just can't avoid in solo q. You can't always mimic lcs plays in solo q. Things are different in solo q. Don't take lcs plays as the meta. Play the game in a way that makes sense to you.

Or just ban teemo. Also I forgot about jax. Jax is more of an evenly matched champion to tryndamere rather than a counter. When comparing teemo and jax I'd say teemo is the greater threat than jax in the current meta because of the avaiability of cdr (also teemo's blind has much shorter cdr than jax's dodge) for mages. And jax has no means of escape once he q to you. Teemo has better kiting potential with shrooms, ms boost, and perma blind. Ban teemo and make your life easy.

FYI. What people do not realize is that the game is decided during the champion selection. The team composition and how hard you were countered determines most of the outcome. Champion difficulty doesn't matter much. Skills matter only so much. Copying lcs won't do shit in solo q. Copying their build/rune while everything else is different certainly won't do crap.

I remember a duo hitting diamond from silver with leona+taric bot. But as far as i know there is not a real strategy to help you climb. Even if you find something and make it, its unlikely you stay there.
