They'll open up their account ledgers, flipping through to check the numbers, and they'll realize something...

"Hey, we made a lot of money! Clearly they aren't upset over soloQ anymore. Now we can forget it ever existed!"

And thus we will never see soloQ again. Because Riot just raked in boatloads of money off a bunch of suckers who spent 100-300+ dollars on Hextech chests.

Sorry for breaking your hopes, all you "let's protest with our wallets" guys. It's not going to work.
