Thresh's Lantern VS Target Detection
I was playing ADC
with a
support. Now body blocking the Thresh lantern by standing on top of it is normal counter play to be expected, this is not about that. What this is about is faulty hit detection or characters whose detection is way bigger than their model. When Lantern is on the ground it has a small circle around the lantern, you shouldn't be able to bodyblock without being in that circle at the very least.
So this is what happened:
ganks me and I'm ulted by him after ult I'm at about 15% health but good ol Thresh throws out his lantern and NO BODY is on the lantern however Warwick is standing just outside the circle it has, his model is nowhere near the lantern itself, yet apparently that's enough for me to not be able to click on the lantern. No matter where I click, on lantern or in tiny circle, it's Warwick who I target, and he's not even on the lantern. Either this was a glitch for that game or some champions' model detection need to be fixed, because you shouldn't be able to body block a lantern without actually going on it.
