Why do Plat players give up so fast?
Ever since I hit plat my teammates keep dying 1-3 times in lane and just saying ff in all chat. Is it just bad luck or do plat players really have this terrible attitudes??

Open mid has been moving down the ladder for a while now, just very slowly. I guess it finally hit plat.
Yup. In diamond games we can have all lanes winning except for one, and that one has a good chance of typing ff, go next, or something of the like (or someone else is typing that other than that laner)
Same in silver, when I was there ppl hit ff nonstop. I actually have friends who stuck in silver just because they ff too much.

I find it mostly stems from players hardstuck 500+ games with less or barely than 50% winrates. They basically feel they're beating up against an impenetrable wall so what does it matter to them? It's all part of their mental cycle. What they fail to realize if they just took the time to fix their mistakes they wouldn't be having to play 1K+ games stuck in an elo, or trying to barely reach an elo.
That also begs the question is someone with 10,000 games who is Diamond actually Diamond skill level, or are they there merely through attrition. Personally I usually find the players who took the most games to get to an elo to usually be the weakest players on their respective team.
Plat is an infuriating place for a lot of people because they know they're better than the majority of the League playerbase, yet can't make it to the top
