Leveling champions' mastery is disabled for ARAM

Salutations fellow Summoners and/or Rioters,

As an avid ARAM player, recently I've noticed that leveling champions' mastery is disabled for ARAM. I do not know if this is intended by any means or purposes. If it is, **what were the insights behind this decision? **For the people who enjoy playing ARAM better than SR/TT to simply disable the mastery system in ARAM is waaay to far. I personally have little to no complain regarding only been rewarded 6&7 mastery tokens in SR, but being forced to play the mode to just level up mastery is just alienating the player. Just some food for thought.

?????????????????????

I mean, it's not like there's much difference between 0 mastery and mastery 5. But at the same time- there's barely any difference so why lock it to SR???

This doesn't even effect me personally! But I think this is stupidly unfair for ARAM players.

My feeling is that all of the changes made, including this one have ruined my motivation to play, as an exclusive ARAM player.

And, to be fair, it's not like Mastery really means anything in the grand scheme of things, so having it only on SR is just dumb.

Like, I have Mastery 7 on Brand but I got it playing support Brand. That's completely different from mid lane Brand, so by this random logic, I shouldn't get my Mastery because I didn't get it through mid lane.

Yeah that's a really dumb design change. If you play the champ in a competitive environment period, you should receive credit aka mastery levels. [sg-lux-2]

As far as I can tell, I've continued to get mastery points in ARAM games.

EUW had some issues with the mastery system at the start of the patch, perhaps theres further issues happening there?

thats weird. it says eligible for mastery points when you hover over the "point eligibility" section https://imgur.com/a/kUwGf
