Wards and warding (that nobody cares about)

Warning: Long post + Bronze 1 scrub.

I was watching the LCS summer games and was very pleased to find everyone on the teams warding all the time everywhere. I mean, I know warding is important, but I usually never actually see my teammates warding. So I gathered some data (from na.op.gg) on my warding vs. my team vs. the enemy team's warding (because I'm on tilt and don't want to play but I can't move on with my life).

I am...disappointed, to say the least. I mean, it's sad when I'm warding more than the support, but it's even more sad when I'm warding more than everyone else in the entire game even when I'm not playing support or warding optimally (some games I slack).

Below I have listed my last 50 games (all normals--I know, not ranked, I am scrub, so bad, I cri err tiem), the role I played, the number of wards I placed/destroyed, the number of wards my lane opponent in my role placed/destroyed (from this point forward all numbers refer to wards; do not confuse #/# with kill/death), and the most number of wards placed in the entire game. What can I learn from this data?

Out of 50 games, I played Support 19 times. In those 19 games, I warded more than everyone else in the game in 15 games.

My second most played role was Mid, which I played in 16 games. In those 16 games, I warded more than the support in 8 games, and I warded more than everyone else in the game in 4 games.

In total, regardless of roles, I warded more than everyone else in 25 games.

And in a non-support role I warded more than my lane in 26 games (compared to the 44 games in total where I warded more than my opponent in the same role).

On a guesstimated number based on glancing at the numbers, people playing a role other than support are likely to ward around 3-10 times per game (sometimes, less often nowadays, people will go 0/0 throughout the entire game even though they have a warding trinket. LIKE COULD YOU USE THE FREE WARD? IS IT THAT HARD?).

Does this mean I'm pretty decent at warding, or are my teammates so bad at warding that I appear to be pretty good at it? Or does no one prioritize warding ever even though they probably should even though it's not that hard to begin with? And am I allowed to feel happy that I warded more than than the Gold/Plat/Diamonds that served my ass to me on Bronze platter?

Now, I know these are normals and normals don't seem matter.

But I'm Bronze. And people who are Bronze tend to play in ranked how they play in normals (with maybe slightly more tryhard).

And, honestly, regardless of if it's normals or ranked, warding kind of saves lives and gives your team map awareness, so why would people not do it? (And my warding numbers, especially in Mid and Top, come from 1 or 2 early purchases of followed by an upgraded . Oh look, no lost item slot, just full abuse of the free trinket slot).

I'm gonna go back to my Bronze pit where all my hopes and dreams are crushed.
