I've just gotten back into going top lane again after some time and I keep running up against and destroyed by Fioras. I've played Gragas, Cho, and J4 but everytime I just get destroyed. I try building armor and health early but no avail. Is there any thing that I'm blatantly missing on how to deal with her? Thanks in advance.
A couple of things.
Don't position yourself where she can proc the vitals. Keep an eye on the little marks she places on you passively, and make sure that they are always where she can't proc them with a single Q. They deal % max health true damage and heal her if she hits them. So, don't let her.
Don't try to use obvious hard cc on her. Gragas E and R, Cho Q, and J4 Flag n Drag all have pretty obvious indicators that a Fiora player can then use her W to turn the stun against you. Also, remember that she is able to W while using her Q to dash. Her W will only stun if she gets stunned/snared/knocked up/suppressed during the 0.75 second duration and is also her only way of procing vitals from range. Bait out her W or fight her without using your stuns.*
When she ults you, try to position yourself against walls so that there's at least 1 vital she can't proc at all as you run away. Don't try to fight her when her ult is on you, it will force you to move likely to where she can slip a Q through the wall onto your safe vital, claiming the % max health true damage and heal as well as getting one step closer to getting her big heal on you.
*EDIT And, as Cho, if you silence her before knocking her up with your Q, she's fucked.
Gragas should destroy her, just Q poke endlessly and don't get your E outplayed (use it only at pointblank range if her W is still up, and mix it up so you aren't super predictable). Same for ult.
Cho pretty much just gets wrecked, farm under tower basically.
J4 - don't get your Q or EQ Riposted. Go damage > defense, the only way you're winning a duel is if you burst her down. Rav is a great first item, so you don't go oom waveclearing. Q poke if you want, but careful of your mana.
If the Vital is facing her, walk away until it resets.
Have good positioning and trading. Fiora's very low ranged and will take minion aggro if she wants to hurt you at all - use this to your advantage.
Jungler helps but FYI you aren't supposed to win 1v1 because she is the king of dueling
Bait her w, she will lose almost any trade if she doesn't use it properly. Remember to dodge her w even if you didn't throw hard cc since it applies movement speed and attack speed reduction. While you're fighting with her, never stop moving she will have a hard time trying to proc her vitals. Don't forget to ask for a gank :)
