Why this game is not a very fun game. (Partly because of Dynamic Queue)

Hello everyone, I've been playing league for quite some time now, and even though I'm not the best player or even close to it, I have opinions on why I feel this game just isn't enjoyable. I don't believe in Elo Hell so I won't be biased and cry on this thread about how I get crappy teams! item 3070

I play many champs and I have a wide champion pool. I'm sure I have pretty good knowledge on the game even though I'm not mechanically the greatest, I still have opinions on why I feel league isn't enjoyable, so lets go to it!

                                      . *[slayer-pantheon-popcorn]*

  • As a person who's played for a bit years now item 3070 I can conclude that this just isn't a fun game, but its addicting. I can assure you I've had more bad moments than good. Pretty much a game can last 20-60 minutes. (60 is pretty large, but I've had a few) If you're losing or being completely destroyed by a team you are stuck in this environment that you can't control for a pretty long time, and it can get exhausting summoner 3 . Eventually, toxicity will come from a player, whether it is the enemy team trying to make you feel worse about your lost or an ally trying to make you feel bad about your mistakes, and the only way you can possibly get out of this situation is if you can convince everyone to surrender, wait until the game is over, or leave the match which will result in punishment and you probably shouldn't do it. Pretty much, You're trapped in long crappy situation that you have no control of.

  • DYNAMIC QUEUE isn't really helping. It's only causing constant anger in the forums and even sometimes during champ select. Riot wants this to be a team game, and that is their biggest argument about keeping DQ. Sadly, it is pretty much impossible to have a ranking system that is supposed to show the skill of an individual player for a team game that's... not exactly a team game. This is a team game based around individual skill and it doesn't work that way. I'm sure that was confusing, haha, but let me elaborate a bit. The ranking system is made to show individual skill, but the gameplay is required to be with a team of 4 other randoms (or friends). The thoughts of other individuals and they're brain process is possibly the largest part of an individual's rank. (Unless you main Yorick and you're like diamond haha then you're truly a god)

Alright, that's actually it. I didn't want to make an extra long argument. My main focus around this whole thread was to express that fact that we're trapped in an uncontrollable situation for a long period of time, and we're forced to deal with anything that goes wrong or we will be punished, and what makes it even worse is that you're grinding LP to get an individual rank on a rank that is based around a team game.

I don't need people on my team to be skilled. I just need them to know how to actually play. Game knowledge >>> mechanical skill

that's the reason for bad teams and DQ isn't really relevant at all

i'm extremely sleep deprived so i might be accidentally strawmanning but that's my own rant

...what makes it even worse is that you're grinding LP to get an **individual **rank on a rank that is based around a team game.

OP sentence. So why can't Rito understand this? Bring back soloQ, (which theyre not) or morph DQ into something more of the INbetween, why Nautilus have both as a rank option?

I believe it is due to how snowball the meta has become. This was apparent in previous seasons, where whole threads were discussed on the effects of creating a snowball meta had. Essentially that when one individual became fed, it was not fun and created a lopsided match (sorta true with the stats we are seeing for first tower, drag or rift herald taken)
