Please for the love of god take out the surrender button in ranked. I have won too many 3v5's and 4v5's with impossible odds to know that there is always a small glimmer of hope and to lose a full matches worth of LP because someone wants to surrender is so disheartening. Keep it everywhere else norms rotating game modes whatever. But just not in ranked it is just so silly. Or at least give me the ability to queue with other people without the surrender button because they dont want to either like a check box for matchmaking or something.

Nope.

I won't be forced into dragging a match out based on a small probability of a comeback. If the enemy team is 15-20+ kills and 4-5 towers ahead of us, with the 2 stacks of infernal dragon, and is messing around Baron to stall out the game/pad stats, I'm not going to endure being killed over and over to satisfy someone's hopes.

And adding a separate queue for people who want the surrender option disabled opens up a whole can of worms that makes it unviable:

-Increased queue times for everyone because the playerbase has been splintered -No surrender option invites trolls -May not even work because I bet a majority of players want to play with the surrender option, making queue times for non-surrender matches exceptionally long, especially in higher elo

sure you can theoretically win every match but the question is do i want to spend another 20 minutes stallling out this match hoping we get a good play to net a us a win when one small mistake could end it all or do i want to surrender? if you're at master tier/professional level then sure, never surrender but for most people its not worth it

Not to mention a match that is impossible to win (intentional feeding, trolls) and the enemy team tries to get a few laughs and not win the game right away, wasting 30 extra minutes.
