Riot had two goals with the Assassin Update that were they wanted to give each assassin a reason to be picked over other assassins and the other being that they wanted to make assassins more fair to play against. Do you think they achieved their goals?

In that sense, it was a success. They've widened the window to some extent for each assassin, so its a bit more fair. Imo they need to do something with 
because of the bigger window.
They fixed alot of problems with for the player and the enemy.
I feel like it was a success, but the assassin class as a whole can be a pain, because of . Thats my biased opinion.

Cocho1 votesGetting Q'd, and being unable to interact with her. It used to bounce on 5, she can't q a minion to harass you consistently anymore, zoning you off the minion wave. You couldn't gank her.
She would kill a mid-ish health squishy in a teamfight in 0.0 seconds in a teamfight, and get her 1st reset.
The 4 picks you mentioned, the last 3 weren't picked like they are now. They were niche, counters, not just overall strong. Ekko was played as a tank, now we're seeing him played as an assassin.

They literally made every assassin easier for ADC's to not die to.
