Ranked Unfair

Over the weekend trying to work towards earning the rewards. I go into six ranked games. In the mean time Solo Q is suppose to be about your own performance as "Phreak" puts it. Well In those six games I'm demoted because of my teams decisions and plays. Two games the team mates decides to choose a champ they've never played. Now how is that fair or allowed! The end season rewards have been given to work towards, which was my goal. Honestly as a competitive player my plays are not always perfect and do make mistakes and I try to keep a sportsman's attitude. If I am supposively being graded by my own performance in Solo Q then why am I being demoted with my team? Further more I'm fixing to be demoted again because the last two days more players have entered in a ranked game trying out a champ. So again I loose points in Solo Q.I know the chat logs are kept on file but I'm wondering if the games are? So you can see what I'm talking about. I'm know for a fact another player that has been playing for four years has experienced the same frustration that I'm experiencing. As a serious good standing league player I would like something resolved in this matter. Maybe age groups formed? I do feel this should be brought before the board as a suggestion. I would also like something to be done with the ranked games dealt with so there's not so much frustration when playing.

while i agree this isn't fair. trying togetting out of bronze pretty much means you need to be able to 1v5. to really leave bronze you need to be able to carry the game BY YOURSELF. its stupid, its not fair.

but unless you win you lane at least 80%+ of the time and are able to gank other lanes and make sure they dont end up feeding its really hard to win.

if you cant win your lane in bronze you are either bronze or the person your fighting isn't. its that simple

i reached the point where while playing Nidalee i got a win streak of 12 games in a row. (minus i think 2 ranked games where nid got banned and i lost) and i reached silver. some of them i duoed with a person i also knew wasn't bronze and we duoed to both get out others i soloed.

try to find a good jungler as a duo que

if you always win your lane and your have a good jungler. you can it makes it so you dont ever need ganks and he can concentrate on the other 2 lanes giving you the advantage. becuase your winning your lane their jungler either needs to gank you to try to stop you from racking up more kills or try to stop your jungler friend from camping the other two lanes

if you have a good jungler teammate it is alot easier to keep your teammates from feeding. which is the biggest issue when opponents get to the point where they are fed so much what despite the fact you can outplay them they still win.

so that my recommendation, duo with a good jungler who is also placed in bronze but its much better than bronze

however if you cant win your lane 80% of the time or more you likely wont be able to get out of bronze.

Honestly, Don't play on weekends, learned this the hard way between 12pm and 5 pm is the best time to play and 1am - 4am Every other time kinda sucks.

When i play those times i usually go one multiple game winning streams. but yes if i play outside those tims its hell. simply because you get the kids playing or the people with the attitude that. " I'm number one do what i say or you are a noob"

honestly the weekend i avoid in general cause i've gone on 15 game losing streaks not because i'm saying the team sucks but because no one one the team wants to work as a team.

AS a manager at gamespot for 4 years you learn this with kids. no mater what you say EVEN if you're right. They will not listen to you simply because. you're not the boss of them

Every try to help a lane person and say get a ward? know what they usually reply to you with? F you . or Shut up noob!.

seriously i don't even try if i lose i lose. what ever.

Age groups in an online game mean nothing. Everyone will just lie and say they're older and there's 0 you can do to prove anything.

Yes, ranked sucks sometimes. Bronze especially. There's just not a lot you can do to change much of it.

Sure, they can ban bad players, but do you really want them banning for playing poorly? I get actual trolling, but how can you prove they didn't just have an off game, or the enemy team wasn't just better and there wasn't a lot of hope of winning from the get go? If you do ban players for playing champs for the first time all they do is just don't say they're first timers and bam, you can't prove anything again. You can have the game detect I guess, but at least one game is going to be their first ranked game with them.

They can try grading off personal performance, but how does that work. Do you get graded off KDR? Supports get screwed over big time. Do you get graded off assists too then? A lot of team fight farming will go on then so people can boost each other out. There's not an effective way of quantifying great plays besides having someone go through every game and that's just not feasible. Pretty much all the solutions are not feasible or are just too easy to game.
